I got a new laptop and I'm having trouble getting it to sync.
I bought a new laptop and downloaded itunes. I got my id set up but i can't delete the music and apps from my phone and reset them. All of my software is up to date. Anybody have any ideas?
You mean iTunes doesn't see the iPad.
If you are running iTunes 11 - go to View>Show Sidebar at the top of the screen in the iTunes menu. When the sidebar is enabled - do you see the iPad under Devices?

I have purchased actual ringtones from the ITunes store. They were working fine on my Iphone 3 before, but I got a new laptop and the new version of ITunes, and now even though they are listed as ring tones on my ITunes, they will not transfer to my Iphone. My old laptop crashed, and took my iTunes account with it. I got a new laptop, and want to sync my iTouch to iTunes. It gives me an error message stating that I can't sync to multiple iTunes accounts, but I can't access my old one!
How can I get my new iTunes account to allow me to Sync my iTouch? The only option it gives me is to "transfer purchases" from my iTouch to iTunes, but that is only about 25% of my iTunes library-most of it is CDs I have uploaded. How can I Sync without losing all my music from my iTouch???
Also, I have lectures and photos, etc. on my iTouch that I don't want to lose.
I've tried a few of the iPod copy programs-the free ones and the ones you have to pay for, but I can't find one that will work for ALL my content on an iTouch.
Right now, I can't get anything from my iTouch to iTunes, and I can't update my iTouch with my new iTunes purchases, so I'm stuck! Help!Also-I tried to use my backup hard drive, but I wasn't able to drag/transfer/send/move any of my muic files onto my iTouch when the iTouch was connected to my computer. I can't figure out why it won't let me do that.
The only thing I can see when I open my iTouch on my computer is my file with photos. I can't see videos, music, or anything else. What's going on? -
I just got a new laptop and when i went to go and buy something, it asked for some security question answers cause this was my first time buying on this computer. When i went to go type in the (so what I thought) correct answers, it said they were wrong. After numerous tries, it disabled my account. How do I get the answers sent to my email so i can start using my itunes again?

I got a new laptop and installed iTunes and plugged in my iPod but it won't get recognized on iTunes or in my computer, the computer says unknown device found and that the software was not successfully installed. That is right. An iDevice can only sync to one computer/iTunes library. If you still have the computer just cpy/export yur iTunes libray to a USB stick or similar and import it ito the new computer. Also copy the iPod backup file to the new computer. That file is locaed here:
Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/
Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
Windows Vista and Windows 7: \Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
Transfer iTunes purhases to the new computer by:
iPhone and iPod touch: Unable to update or restore
Then let iTunes erase you iPod and restore the iPod from the backup and then sync. -

Check your Adobe account online. If you registered the software when you first installed it then the serial number might be available there.

If you've never set them then are you able to log into your account via the 'manage your Apple ID' button/link on http://appleid.apple.com, click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of the page that you are taken to, and can you then set them on the right-hand side of that screen ?
If not then is there a reset link beneath the two questions that show on that screen ? The link will only show if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple in your country to get the questions reset.

Normally when you save a game in iPhone, the memory used is in the flash memory of the device. Those that can be ported over, reason is due to the data being saved over the air and when you logged in on a new device, it recognises you via the userID.
Maybe you can try to backup your iPhone 3, and restore the file onto your iPhone 4. Not too sure if that would brick your phone though.
