I got a refund from iTunes, but I didn't get my money back...

Hi, I bought the Geometry app which costs $9.99... It was not that great, and it crashes all the time, so I got it refunded, when I got it refunded I got this e-mail:
Dear MauiRecently you reported an issue with Geometry ® using iTunes Report a Problem. This email confirms that you have been issued a refund of $9.99 for this purchase.

When I checked my iTunes, my credit was still $0.01... I tried logging out, and logging in again, and logging out again, and logging back in again, but I still didn't get the 10 bucks back... please help!

If you paid by credit card then I suggest you check your credit card's statement. Apple would have issued the refund directly on your credit card. I don't think that you would see anything on your iTunes account.

    There's no way to cancel an item once it's been queued. Contact the iTunes Store Customer Service department using the form at the bottom of the Purchase Issues FAQ web page and explain the problem to them. Perhaps there's something they can do for you.
    For the future, I'd suggest that you set the preference to Buy Using Shopping Cart (in the Store preferences in iTunes). That will help eliminate such inadvertent purchases.

    What exactly happens when you try to sync?
    Does iTunes see the iPod?
    Was the iPod previous synced to another iTunes library/computer?
    Have you successfully synced from this iTunes library/computer before?
    If so have you done anything like update iTunes on the computer since it last successfully synced?
    Do the songs play in iTunes?          
    Does any media now sync to the iPod?
    Do you have the right boxes checked to sync?

    Never mind speaking another language, writing in it is awsome.  Mind you even I am making an assumption that English is not your first language which may not be the case.
    To your question, it would depend on why you think you may be entitled to a refund, if the app is totally falsely advertised you may have a chance.  If it is just that you don't actually like it you may have less chance.  Give it a go.

  • I was charged by Apple iTunes, but I didn't get reloading credits from Rebtel. They told me I should contact apple.

  • HT4915 I deleted music from itunes but it didn't give me the option of removing it from icloud

    I downloaded an album by mistake so deleted it off of itunes but when I was deleting it said that it would still be in icloud & would only give me the option to "hide" in icloud & not delete. Is there anything else that I can do, thanks

    Recently I got my Iphone unlocked. Earlier I was using it on ATT n/w. After unlock i am using it in India with a service provider here.
    The problem that I am getting is, the phone was able to pick up the network and am able to make calls and messages. Data plan is still to be activated so cant confirm on that, but all the apps that were there on my phone got wiped out on its own. Since I wasnt sure as to what happend, so I reinstalled the apps today morning. I saw the apps getting installed and then left to get ready for my office. after nearly 30 mins I saw nothing was getting syncronized so disconnected the phone and left for Office. On reaching office when I checked for my usual Apps, I could see only the apple apps and none other available there. Need to know whats the issue and how to resolve it. Please can someone help me on this?

    I can not get to iPhone screen, so no way to get to Settings. That is the problem. When I connect phone to iTunes I get screen asking to insert SIN card. On the phone I'm getting Cinfigure screen asking Launguage , Country or Region, Wi-Fi, ( I can connect to my home wi-fi), and last screen "Activating your iPhone". After two minutes of waiting IM getting message: Your iPhone could not be activated because the activation server in temporary unavailable. try connecting to iTunes or try later or contat apple.com/support.
    Like I mention, I went to Bell as well Rogers store and tried to insert active SIM card with no results.

    You should get an email when a decision has been made as to whether or not you will be refunded - the email should arrive within 48 hours of you contacting support. If they do decide to refund you then how long it takes depends upon what you were using as your payment method, I think that purchases made by an account's balance are done quickly, if through a credit card it might take a number of days.

    3. select a topic and a subject
    4. click 'continue' and then 'email'
    5. fill out the form and explain your situation
    6. they will respond within 24 hours usually
