I got an error while updating my iphone4gs to ios5.0.1 and now the iphone is on its previous page when it was on box?
i was updating my iphone4 to the latest version but the error occured while updating the phone and than my phone got frozen with the screen of itunes and usb cable but as i connect it to the computer, its not shown in itunes.same screen is shown
please help me

Download RecBoot and see if that will kick it into recovery mode, so your computer sees it and you can do a restore.

That error message suggest you have a permissions issue. Make sure you have full read/write privileges for the Drive/ Folder location that you are copying the files to.

i updated my iphone which they gave to me with out a sim card and now the iphone is asking for a sim card to activate it what should i do i dont have the sim card?

I updated my Iphone3gs to iOS5.0.1 and now it won't recognize my SIM card. After updating, my phone went off and when I opened it,this message appeared; "SIM NOT VALID. Only compatible SIM cards from a supported carrier may be used to activate iPhone. Please insert the SIM card that came with your iPhone or visit a supported carrier's store to recieve a replacement SIM." I can't do anything with my phone! How do I get it to change back to normal? BTW, I don't if this helps, but I'm from the Philippines and my sim card is Smart.
Well yesterday I finally broke down and called apple service... I spent $29 and 1.5 hours on the phone, but the operator was finally able to fix my ipod. There was an issue with the itunes update, and it had corrupted. After uninstalling, installing, and updating several drivers, programs, and resolving other issues, my iPod finally works. Even better, the operator gave me a way to contact him again if I am having issues, free of charge. I would have much rather fixed this myself without spending the additional money, but I'll admit there was no way I could've done what he did, as there were certain orders to uninstalling Apple programs. My advice? Bite the bullet and call. They will get your iPad working again. (:

I recently updated iTunes to version 11.5.5, and now my iPhone 5 will not sync up completely with iTunes. ITunes will recognize and sync up, but I now cannot manage my music on my phone. Also, all of my playlists on my iPhone were wiped out. It would be great to retrieve my phone playlists, but more important, be able to manage my music again. I'm running on Windows 7 and I own iPhone 5. Suggestions?
I have windows 8, I'm not sure if that has anything to do with anything, but i figured maybe 11.1.4 just doesn't like 8. soooo.. i went onto my computer settings and uninstalled anything and everything made my apple and then reinstalled itunes 11.1.3 and it now reads my ipod nano happy day thanks apple for making something that you can't help me with at all

The "1" is saved in your backup? But there is no backup involved in a reset.
Are you saying you tried the reset and then you tried a restore from a backup, and neither of those solved the issue?
If so, check Settings > General > About > Software Update again and double check that you actually have iOS 8.1.2 on your iPhone. -

original wireless carrier. If this is the case, only that wireless
carrier can unlock your iPhone. You must contact them to see
if they offer unlocking and if you qualify.

What wireless carrier did you use before this problem?
Does the app Cydia appear on your iPhone?
What does it say when you look at Settings=>General=>About=>Carrier?

Have you tried a - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
