iTunes could not connect to iTunes store. An unknown error occurred (-3212) - Does anyone know how to fix this? I've tried alot of solutions and nothing seems to be working at all
Each time I try to connect to the iTunes store, this has popped up. I googled error (-3212) and also followed the steps on iTunes support. I downloaded the new itunes and chose "repair files" all to no prevail. I use iTunes on a daily basis and bought and iTunes card 2 weeks ago which I now cannot use. Does anyone know how to fix this?Just in case, let's try the following document:

What was the full wording of the error message? Usually there is also a number or additional information.
Try placing the iPod in Recovery Mode and then restore
Next try DFU mode and restore.

When I attempt to sync my iPod with iTunes, "iTunes could not copy "songname" to the iPod because an unknown error occurred (-69)" appears, I have attempted to restore my iPod settings but this doesn't help at all. This only happened after I installed the latest update of iTunes.

In iTunes, go "Help > Run Diagnostics". Uncheck the boxes other than DVD/CD tests, as per the following screenshot:

The "device may need service" means a hardware problem. In that case make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

After a crash whilst syncing my 120 GB iPod Classic the other night (on a 1.25 GHz eMac running OS X 10.5.8) I now get a message saying 'The iPod 'Xxxxx' cannot be synced. An unknown error occurred (13014).'.
The iPod plays songs, scrobbles, syncs podcasts and allows songs to be transferred onto it - but Genius no longer works, and that was the main reason I bought a new 120 GB iPod instead of a 160 GB one.
After Googling Apple's advice on what to do with that error code (which seems to be all about iPhones rather than iPods) I'm no closer to a solution, and am concerned a restore may be needed.
I manually manage the iPod, due to my library being about 160 GB, so would love to know if there is either a way of fixing the error, or a way of setting the contents of the 'Pod as a playlist, or somesuch, so I can reset the iPod and just re-copy the tracks (about 107 GB worth) onto it simply, rather than having to manually select 18,000-odd songs.
Is there a way I can do this, or some other solution to this problem?
Thanks for reading.I'm having the same problem with my 160GB iPod. I haven't upgraded to Snow Leopard yet. I tried rebooting the computer, and tried updating iTunes. Neither worked -- still getting the message. I do have my iPod synced to iTunes but would like to avoid having to wipe the iPod & start over as it'll take forever given the size of my library. Anyone found a solution other than nuking the iPod?

I've just got back of holiday and while there my phone decided to turn itself off, it would not come back on unless I plugged it into the wall charger, it said that I had to connect it to iTunes, but being on holiday I couldn't.
So when I got home yesterday I plugged it into my laptop and the Apple logo came on, and then went off again, then back on and off again, it was doing this untill I unplugged it. So I put it into recovery mode and it said Connect to iTunes, so I did. It then said that the phone needed to be restored, iTunes started this process, 'extracting software' it said, and then once that was done it said 'preparing iPhone for restore' but then my phone disconnects itself from the laptop and then connects again then disconnects again. Then iTunes comes up with a message saying 'iTunes can not restore this iPhone 'iPhone', a unkown error occured (21)'
I have tried over and over again to try and do this but it keeps coming up with the same.
Does anyone know what's wrong with my iPhone and how I can fix it?
