Error 3194:
This device isn't eligible for the requested build
It means that Apple has stopped signing the version of iOS that you have, try downloading the latest iOS version, then try Restore again.

BootCamp Assistant 4.0.1 and errors while trying to download Windows support software

I am using BootCamp Assistant 4.0.1 and I keep getting errors while trying to download the Windows support software. Go to "control panel" then "add or remove programs". Highlight "Apple software update" Choose "change" click "Repair" This should do the trick. Then download and install iTunes 10.5 again.

See if the "stable" version released on 30 June is compatible with Firefox 5.0. That page doesn't mention which versions of Firefox it is compatible with, a serious oversight, IMO. <br />

I suspect your error was 1015, not 1051. This usually involves a jailbroken iPhone, use Google to find your solution.

I am receiving the following error when trying to download iTunes 10.6.3 for Windows XP:
There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package.
I have looked a several sites that have suggested several fixes, but nothing seems to work. I dont know what program I need to install so I can download iTunes; it never tells me that.

I do not recommend you to download the Windows support software through Boot Camp Assistant.
Instead, you can download the Windows support software for most Macs from the Apple website. Go to this website, look for your MacBook Pro model and the Windows version you want to install, and follow its steps.
