I got my ipad 2 yesterday. I am trying to transfer photos as albums to ipad via itunes. I put the photos in a file with sub-files as I was told. The all tranfer but into one album. Is there a way to do what I am trying?
I am trying to tranfer photos from pc to ipad via itunes. I put the photos in a file and sub-files in order to tranfer them as albums: an main album with albums within. All the photos tranfered but into only one album. Is there a way to do this? Is there an app that would help. Also, I tranfered two albums into iphoto. I edited a photo in one album which created a new album of edits. I have removed the photos form the album but I am not able to delete the album themselves. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
I am having the same problem and it is even bigger.
When opening a 1-page PDF in iBooks and sending it via mail it is sent inline as preview, but the recipient cannot open the file anymore. Also on iPad and iPhone there is no "open in" possible.
Somehow the mail app does destroy the file. What is going wrong?

Most intelligent people would not store such sensitive data on a device that could so easily be lost, stolen, or damaged. Even if they chose to do so, they would use the device as designed and regularly sync and backup that device as described in the User's Guide.
Have you done so? If you have, all of the data is either in iCloud or iTunes on your computer. Replace the device and restore the new iDevice with the backup of the old one. -

there's no way for you to identify which machines have or had cs3 activated, and you can no longer purchase a cs3 license from adobe.
you can request an activation count reset (Contact Customer Care) and deactivate your cs3 on all your computers. you can then install and activate on up to two computers. -

The files already transferred are in a new user account created by Migration Asisstant. Log off; when you go to log back on, you should be prompted to enter a password for the new account. Then you should be able to manually move whatever didn't get copied. -

Cs6 is saving all layers into one. Is there any way I can retrieve the layers? Help!
I switched from CS5 to CS6 and now everything that I save, when I go back to it, it is merged into one layer. The layer box is checked in the save dialog. The one thing that I did do was make a pdf of of the file also in the save as menu. I have done this a ton of times before in ealier versions and my files were never merged. Can someone please let me know what is wrong? I have put in hours of work and now I can't edit anything. Can I get the layers back?
I have noticed that this only happens after I save as a pdf in a separate file. First, I save the file in a psd format to keep my layers, then I save as a pdf to show clients. My other files that were saved in psd only, still have the layers.

Sometimes when I copy a CD into iTunes all of the songs do not show y up in one album, but mutiple albums, all with the same name. Is there an easy way to get all of the songs into one album.
Generally adding a common album artist will fix things.

I have photos I want to group together in one album, but can't do this because some may have the same number. How can I combine them all into one album? I was trying to move several albums onto a USB drive and it stated all other files exist at this location. They are pictures taken at different times and have the same number I guess.
In iPhoto albums may contain photos with the same file name - iPhoto handles that just fine
If you are exporting them to move somewhere else use the sequential file name feature of export to give each file a unique name

Also, this is my first foray into online chat rooms so I have a lot to learn to precisely state my issue! I did as you suggested and all the songs list the same album when I go into each song's "get info". However, I am not sure how to edit as you suggested. When I downloaded this album originally, for some reason it broke up into several albums each with different songs from the original album. I am trying to consolidate them back into one album in my library. I would greatly appreciate further assistance if you can. Also, I do not use "the cloud" to store any data and would like a good source of info on how to do this. Thanks so much for your patience!

I need your help of the app [Podcast].
Let me explain my problem.
I enjoying listening to Audiobooks very much.
Everytime I use the iTunes to import some mp3 stories into my iPhone, then change their properties from MUSIC to AUDIOBOOKS. Because I like the convenience of the very two buttons ( 15 seconds of fast backward jumping, and 15 seconds of forward jumping).
But I cannot easily delete those mp3 files that I've just heard. The only way is to erase the whole album in SETTINGS. (I have a bad memory, always forgot which one that I have heard)
Then, I found the app [Podcast], it has all the functions that I need:
one, 15 seconds of fast backward & farward jumping;
two, very convenient (sleeping) timer function;
three, I can easily delete each mp3 file that I've just heard so I know where CAN I continue.
So, I love the app [Podcast], from then on, through the iTunes, I change the properties of my mp3 stories from MUSIC to PODCASTS. It's very easy to operate.
But, then I found something strange: the app [Podcast] mixes every mp3 files together,into one ALBUM, in spite of the ALBUM informations that I defined in EACH mp3 tags.
The app [Music] can classify each ALBUM of those imported AUDIOBOOKS, why can't [Podcast]?
Could you please show me what to do?

I have duplicate albums but no duplicate songs. One song showing in one album, the rest of the showing in a duplicate album. Album, artist, genre all identical. how can I get these albums to merge together into one album?
Change the album title to AlbumX, apply, then change back to Album. Repeat as necessary.

Sort ALL tracks into one album while listening to nano
I have tried to sort all the tracks into one album to listen to the complete CD without having to keep choosing every song individually while on the nano.I have tried everything, sorting it by album/album and artist and also renaming the artist feat. so and so... can somebody please help me with this issue. When I import a commerical CD Itunes will create 2 identical albums and put all of the songs except one into one album and put the other song into the second album that it created. Why is itunes doing this and what can I do to combine them into one album?

What I did was to put in the same name for Album Artist in every track. That seemed to do the trick (previously all those fields were empty). It seems like a lot of work for a simple thing.
iTunes knows (or should know) that these tracks were imported from one CD. So why is it relying on incomplete data from the gracenote database?
