Other people have confirmed it too. Other sounds may be better. No problem tones, watching videos. This problem or is it something normal?

I have this problem too, but it is intermittent. Sometimes the lock/unlock volume will drop to barely-audible, even though in settings the volume slider hasn't changed. If I then move the volume slider, it fixes the problem and the lock sounds jump back to normal, but then later on the problem will happen again.

Try rebooting while holding down the Command and R keys (two keys).
If you see an icon for Recovery, select it and continue.
Then select Disk Utiltiy and press Return.
Now select the hard drive and the Repair Disk.
Quit DU when that is done and restart.

You can't do what you want with iCloud. You will need to setup remote access to your main computer with VPS or some similar remote access application. With VPS you have an application running on your main computer turning it into a server and an client app on your laptop so you can access it remotely. There are many such apps out there, some probably more feature filled than VPS. You might post in the system forum that you're running and ask there.

I think I found a problem with the calculator application.

I'm a south korean highschool student and I think I found a problem with calculator application. I use iPod touch 4th generation with iOS 5.0.1. I was playing with calculator app and I found out that 0.1!(factorial) is 0.951350769866873. This can't be right bacause factorial calculation can only be definrd whan n is natural number or 0(in n!). I want apple to correct this error.
And if you are someone working with apple, please let me know the algorithm of factorial calculation(if possible). I would be grateful if I can have a chance to study the algorithm and find out what made 0.1! possible.

Problems with CC are REALLY getting old.

I spend a great deal of my day trying to get Adobe CC to work like it should. Right now I have a spinning beach ball on the Desktop app and the AAM never seems to work. It just sits there in the DOCK bouncing it's little self to death...
I CONSTANTLY have to change the OOBE file so I can RE-DOWNLOAD and RE-INSTALL. After I do that, about a day later I have to do it all over again. I can't tell you how many times I've run permissions repair and various other time consuming things trying to get this stuff to work. And by the way, were are a three bay editorial shop and all three bays have problems with ADOBE CC programs.
Come on guys. I use this software professionally and have NEVER had so many problems with a program. Yesterday AE, PP and Photoshop ALL said they were needing to be reinstalled! I spend at least half a day just trying to get this CC stuff to work.
Seriously it is flawed and not ready to be released to the professional community. We need these programs to work - day in, day out. We don't need to be contantly "Upgrading" "Re-installing" Re-downloading" and changing numerous files to "OLD" to get your stuff to work.
And the on-line staff in India is really a joke. I've not had them EVER solve a problem! The only solutions are from other users that have found work arounds. (Still have the spinning beach ball on the CC Desktop app....) How many other programs require you to constantly open Activity Monitor and KILL them there because they won't even Force Quit? I suspect ONLY ADOBE CC programs.

I got it fixed by a round about way. Another user wrote a script that allows you to kill all the running programs and clean up so you can do the new install. You can do a google search for: Adobe CC Updater Fix 2.workflow

I think there is a problem with the latest version of Firefox. When you minimize one window (doesn't matter how many tabs) on Mac, it automatically minimizes all of the other open windows. This never used to happen.

Whenever you have multiple windows open - say one is your Gmail account and the other is a bunch of pages you're using at work - and then you go to minimize the window with Gmail but intend to continue working on the other open windows. Using Command-M (the minimize shortcut for Macs) unfortunately now sends all open windows to the minimize bar in the lower right. Which means - every time I go to look at Gmail, then put it away, I have to reclick to open all of the other windows I was working in. Can this be fixed? It never used to happen.

Linux users are in a similar boat also as they need certain package versions within the last few years as LTS distros (with outdated packages from 4+ years ago) like CentOS is a bit screwed on newer applications like Firefox 4.0. By your logic Mozilla should also support Linux packages from 10 years ago also which would be a really ridiculous thing to do.
I think only the 64-bit Windows Vista and Windows 7 is really supported or will be rather when it comes to 64-bit builds (still not officially supported yet).

Runnung on UBUNTU. Cannot open files hosted by Imagebam. Only started recently. No problems in the past. Contacted Imagebam. They reviewed Linux diagnostic results and think it's a problem with the browser. Any ideas?? Thanks.

I got a new computer and really need some help. I plugged my iphone into the computer and tried to sync it. It says that I have songs on my iphone that are not in my itunes library and I will lose them if I sync my phone. How do I transfer the songs on my iphone into itunes?

You should move your iTunes library and media over to your new PC.

Sounds like your new sim is not activated. Call your carrier, they will need the sim number on your new sim. It's a 20 digit number on the back of the sim.

Bootcamp assistant dont create the Bootable USB, it say, not been able to create the executable memory drive usb...
And then i cant do nothing but, close the assistant... sorry for my bad english, but time ago, i was able to install Windows and all that... i dont know why now i cant...

Got a problem with K7N2G-L

the problem is the MB doesn't seem to be disabling the onboard video like it should when i attach an expansion card into the agp slot (using an MSI G4MX-TD8X). i've tried everything i can think of to get the dang thing to post... or at least show it posting. after i attach the card, w/out reseting the bios or anything, i can hear it post and start windows etc., but just no video. i returned the last vid card thinking it was a problem with it, but alas when i tried the new one same thing was happening ;( my stats on what is currently installed as far as hardware is at the bottom. but basically my question is this, am i supposed to disable the onboard video via jumper or something? or is it like i think and auto disables it upon connection of expansion card? possibly a bad MB (i really hope not as i did a dang good wiring job)? i emailed MSI support to no avail as of yet, course it's only been like 24 hours, but you'd think they'd have an 800 number or something to contact them. :( i did update the bios last night but haven't had a chance to try out installing the vid card yet. will post back if that ended up working.

board is set to 133FSB, if it's in safe mode it doesn't post at all ?( hehe. of course it will post in higher, 166 is highest i've tried and it ran stable, but put back down to 133 for troubleshooting purposes with the vid card :(

i've thought about that, but with my drives attached and everything, i'm hovering around 200W total... did the math. but did forget to mention, so far using the onboard video (even with FSB overclocked to 166) haven't had any stability problems with the motherboard, which is why i haven't stripped it out yet to go get another one. i checked stability w/ 3dmark2k1 and about a 2 hour session of JKII running everything at full, even with quincunx enabled but got choppy a bit with that in parts. and btw, you'd assume correct with me moving the monitor adapter.

Wifi erratic on 4S after upgrading and not working even after resetting to factory setting. Why should apple isolate itself from their own product problems Matter of shame when they are not ready to communicate with the customer means they are dead.

Dear Sir/Madam Since the wifi is not coming ON how can I open this diagnostic on the iphone 4S am using and having problem with wifi behaving in erratic manner.
Am a professional engineer for projects and am 68 yrs old. At one time was looking after a production line manufacturing I C's in semiconductors manufacturing company of the US.
Have four apple products, one hp laptop and one DELL professional computer at home is used by only two members me and my wife.
Wife prefers working on ipad2 or ipad mini while traveling and has iphone 4. Am using iphone4S with laptop and Dell computer, No apple product is more than two years old.
Am having the problem in using wifi on the 4S after it was upgraded to the latest ios as per the recommendation by your software of my iphone 4S
The wifi card hangs up at it's own will and even a visit to your authorized service center in Delhi has not able to help me although they have reverted the ios back to the
one supplied with the set. Am a user and not a computer expert but it looks like the wifi card is not able to some times take the load while working which could indicate the wifi card is getting heated up.
My daughter who is Masters in 3D Animation is an ardent fan of apple products working at present in Canada was also gifted by me a 4S about 4 months back. My daughter-in-law is using iphone4 and an ipad for her professional works along with a Dell PC in the US. While my son is a fan of samsung products and does not like an apple product.
So in a family we have 7 apple products except MAC laptop/PC.
But the fact is, this problem with 4S has really shaken me up and now it seems your products are deteriorating in quality while demanding the best pricing structures.
Since this is purely the device and the software of apple problem you may please replace this set with new one as neither have any time to push you/ request you after your service centre
in Delhi told me yesterday this cannot be repaired.
The serial No of my set is DN*****TC0 and was bought from an authorized dealer and so were the other products from the same dealer in Delhi. This set is still in showroom condition and
was never used without a protective cover.
