i purchased an Iphone 6 plus from eBay. it is a at&t phone.
I got the cellphone unlock once i get to itunes it shows that the iphone is unlock, but when i try the colombian sim cards shows no service, i try with 3 sim cards. and nothing no service.
what can i do please help?

SSo you contacted AT&T and had them unlock the phone?
AT&T is the only one suthorized to unlock your phone.

I've been hppily usingtoday until about half an hour ago!!!
It updated the O/S, then I went about connecting to I-Tunes, after a while it flashed up on I-Tunes "There is no SIM card installed in the I-Phone you are attempting to activate - please disconnect and try again..."
I've tried taking it out an dputting it back in several times!!
The phone now just says "no service"..

The SIM card inserted in this iPhone does not appear to be supported.
Only compatible SIM cards from a supported Carrier may be used to activate iPhone. Please insert the SIM card that came with your iPhone or visit a supported Carrier's store to receive a replacement SIM card.I got the same message.
I bought an iPhone 5 at full retail price from an AT&T store. I requested the phone to be unlocked through their unlock portal. The AT&T unlock system asked for the IMEI number, a copy of my receipt showing that I bougth the phone at "No Commitment" price. A few hours later I received a message from AT&T stating that the unlock request was approved. I then followed the instructions to back up the phone and restore it through Itunes. The phone activates normally with the AT&T SIM card. But when I insert my VODAFONE SIM I get the massage "THE SIM CARD... etc.
I tried again to back up & restore the phone 3 or 4 times, no success. I have also allowed 24 hours for the unlock process to complete. Still no luck.
I have checked again on the AT&T Unlock Status portal and it shows "Unlock approved".
Where is the issue here? Do I have to call Apple or return the phone to AT&T and get the unlocked phone through the Apple Store?

The company is asking for a bill to ensure the account has been payed off / qualifies for unlocking. The company will also need the information to log any requests.
Solution:
Get in contact with the origional owner of the phone and have them contact the previous carrier to get it unlocked. -

Connect your iPhone to computer iTunes
Use iTunes menu File > Devices > Transfer Purchases from ....
to transfer your purchased ringtone to computer iTunes. -
I am using iPhone 5 by Cricket and it is international unlock and i tried that when i entered the sim first time it gives network but when i take out the sim and entered the sim again it doesnt give network and keep searching why ?? Is this problem can be resolve
Don't know where you got that idea, all US Cricket iPhones are carrier locked, with NO way to get them officially unlocked, as Cricket DOES NOT offer official unlocking for the iPhone.

Its very frustrating...does anyone have any fixes of solutions to this???SMS is a carrier feature. Start by contacting your carrier and making sure your account is properly configured. Even if it was before, sometimes changing phones causes glitches.

I have a factory unlock iphone 5 with the lasted version. Since yesterday my sim card stopped working and now says `No Sim`, was working fine and stopped working now, other sim works but just not mine. ¿What can be happening?
I thought that, but I put the sim card in another device that is not Apple and works. Definitely the sim card work, but no longer in my iPhone 5 or maybe in any other Apple device, i dont know why!! But i gonna get a replacement to see what happen

If Vodafone does not provide a nano-SIM card, there are no suggestions. Not only is the nano-SIM card smaller, it is also thinner, so cutting a micro-SIM card down to size wouldn't be enough to fit.

I got my iphone 6 plus less than a week ago. I ordered from Verizon. My phone is now randomly going from having a good cell signal to giving me a message No SIM. I was able to make calls, now when I get this message, I can't connect to cell service, which defeats the point of having a cell phone! The phone is brand new and has not been dropped, damaged, or otherwise mishandled. Did I get a defective phone or what?
Hi! I got in touch with AppleCare last evening finally. They helped me clear the data blockage or whatever. It sounds like this is an issue they are aware of, because they said the phone was not defective. However, it happened again today and it took several times of me doing the resetting of the network and hard staring the phone before the problem cleared. It is just frustrating because it is hard to go without cell service for long periods of time. And no, I have not done anything with the SIM card. I don't know what it is or how it would be accessed on an iPhone! This might be something Verizon wants to take a closer look at with Apple.

Do what it says and install a SIM card.
Did you buy an unlocked phone? If not, then only the carrier to which it is locked to can unlock the phone.
