I got no 3 G on my ipad 2 after new ios update
I just updated my ipad to the newest ios, and now i got no 3G
I had same thing and discovered my APN settings had vanished.
Go to:
Settings/Mobile Data/APN settings
And re-enter whatever settings your local 3G carrier likes...

I have two iPads, an iPad 2 and an iPad 4. I updated both recently with the latest iOS update. Since then my ipad 4 has been fine, but my ipad 2 has been increadibly slow when trying to use a vpn.
I have the same vpn account on both iPads, and have contacted my vpn company and done all they suggested but it just will not work on my older ipad.
My ipad 2 has been switched off, reset, has 8gb memory available, had all other apps shutdown and I am now running out of ideas.
Why has this iOS update affected my ipad2 like this, yet not my 4, and what can I do to try and get it's original performance back, which was fine.
ThanksHave had the same issue w/my iPad 2. It is an iOS issue. Waiting (an unusually long time) right now to finish today's 7.1.1 update and hope it's fixed! Apple has been aware of this issue, apparently.

I was trying to installed new ios update and suddenly my WIFI connection got desconnect. now I am trying to restore my Ipad2 but getting error saying "the Ipad could not restored, An unknown error accured (3194)". so please help me out to resolve the same.
When I restart my iPad the connect to iTunes comes up and stays on until it shuts down again, I have read a report from Apple support suggesting I reinstall iTunes so I might try that again and also your suggestion which i shall also try, but thanks again - rg1547

Trying to connect my Digital AV Adapter to watch Netflex or Amazon Prime movie from IPad to TV and asking to disconnect AirPlay & mirroring. I do not have Air Play and there is no way to do this. Anyone have a solution? Is this a result of the new iOS update? Thank you.
Try looking in the control panel by swiping up from the bottom of the screen.

I just updated my iPad to the new ios and now it won't let me use iCloud. I have been in my settings and it says I need to agree to the new t&c's but when I click to do it my device freezes. Any Idea what I can do as I can't download new app either
Sorry. There's nothing anyone can do. The current version of the facebook app will not run on 4.2.1. The iPhone 3G won't run anything higher than 4.2.1. You're stuck.
Maybe it's time to buy yourself a new iPod Touch. -

you can't get the old you tube icon because apple deleted it. BUT you can download youtube app on the app store for free and its actually better and faster than the previous youtube app that you want. hope this helps!

After seven ios updates, why is iBooks still the only app that won't synch between iphone & ipad?!?

Thanks for the reply. I did think that could be the case but then other books would also show up as apps on phone but not counted as an app. Maybe book apps downloaded from the app store work in this way whereas books bought from the ibooks app show in ibooks and not as apps.
I guess that would make sense, it must be because they are books but downloaded from the app store rather than the book store so they are visible as an app but don't actually get counted as an app.
Would you think that's the case too?

I updated my iPad with a new software update, but now it randomly goes to the home screen while I am viewing a page in safari or watching a YouTube video. Do I need to take it in to have it looked at, or is it a simple fix? I just installed the update this morning.

Hi, the App Store icon has been removed from my iPad even after synching and updating. Any suggestions on how to get it back to be able to update / purchase apps?
If you do not have, or remember, the passcode for Restrictions, the only option available to you is to reset the device to factory settings via itunes.

Why won't my iPad 2 screen rotate since the latest update to the iOS? It will sometimes rotate after several minutes but not always. I have done all the usual: checked the settings, side button, reset all, etc. I've had it a couple of years and this problem just started after the iOS update. I am ready to throw it away.

Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app.
