i bought iphone 6plus from Boston store
i asked for model A1542
i was given A1522
LTE won't work in Oman.
THe phone still in the box I didn't open it.
what can can i do te change it?

im experiencing the same issue. I have an iphone 4 currently running iOS 7.1.2. I just updated the app to version 1.2.0 expecting a change. it still continues and I hope they fix I soon.

Did you restore the phone as a new device when you did the restore/unlock, or did you restore it from an existing backup? I have found that when unlocking an iPhone on the AT&T network, you don't get the message that the unlock was successful if you don't restore as a new device. The unlock still works, you just don't get the message. Perhaps it is not carrier specific for this behavior.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

My Contracted SIM is for an android phone, but when i put the sim in an iphone my 3g no longer works?.. Is it because my 3g is only active on the android os and not the ios platform? Texts, Calls and Wifi work fine but the 3g doesn't work. My phone only shows 'GPRS' in the top left corner. Also I get a message come up saying "Could not activate mobile data network. You are not subscribed to a mobile data service".

Hi hexonxonx, I'm on o2. Thanks for your advice. You are right. All I had to do was change one of my APN settings to mobile.o2.co.uk and reboot my phone and this sorted it out straight away! Thanks again. Much appreciated . I was thinking I was going to have to go back to an android phone to use my 3g again but this eliminated that need. Thanks.

IPhone 5 A1429 won't work with SKT?

Hello, I recently bought an iPhone 5 online. I did a bit of reading before I bought it and found that in order for it to work in Korea I'd need to get the model A1429 GSM version of the phone to use with SKT. So I got that model from Negri Electronics, and took it into the SKT counter at Osan AB in Korea, and they tried 4 times to make the nano SIM card work with the phone, but there was no luck. Did I misread something online and order the wrong model? What are some possible reasons for the phone not working with that carrier? According to the Apple website that model should work with SKT so I'm really confused. Any help would be appreciated.

I changed my Apple ID to my new email and now cannot find any way to access icloud. Unfortunately I had allowed icloud to hijack my airbook files, so of course I am afraid I will lose them tomorrow when I exchange my iphone for a new one and cannot keep an icloud account i cannot access. What a poor sync system! Really atypical for apple!

There is a hardware problem. Whether it's worth it to you to have no working phone for 2 months until you can update vs paying for replacement/repair now is a question only you can answer.

How Can I choose Iphone 5s models that work with LTE in Brazil. The Iphone needs to Support Band 7. If I buy the wrong model can apple change it ?

Have you personally tried those models with Brazilian LTE networks? Do they work? If so, fine. If not, then besides that, there is the problem of the warranty which is not international. The user will have to return the phone back to the country of purchase for both warranty and out of warranty service. So what might seem cheaper at first glance might not be in the end.
Anyways, it your money and the OP's should he want to go ahead with your recommendation.
