I guess Evernote is useless if you us Mobile Me ?

I guess you can just use photos and send images to MobileMe to remember. I'm debating to Evernote or not.
Are they any great benefits to using Evernote?

It's free, try it out and see how you like it. Many people swear by it, but whether you would benefit depends on your needs and workflow.

I don't have MobileMe or use Evernote, but people don't talk about them like they are similar at all. IIRC, Evernote will OCR images into text, which is something you wouldn't get from syncing photos to MM.

Sorry, there is nothing you can do until the device is removed from the sellers Apple ID.

Which of the in-built programs are useless to you?

In an E-series phone, there are many a program that come bundled with the phone, a few of which you might have never used for some reasons. An unused program might be simply useless to you, or it might be lacking the specific functionality you want, or the way it performs a certain task might be annoying, or its interface might be ugly, or its functionality might be limited, or a better third party alternative might be available, or there may be another reason. I's just wondering how many bundled programs just go unused as I found a number of them to be useless for one reason or another (I have an E71). These include the following (I might add more later) with brief reasons for why I don't use them:
About (not so interesting to be usable multiple times)
Activation Keys (don't know what they are; probably don't need to know either)
Active Notes (I find simple text "Notes" sufficient for my needs)
Device Manager (I ain't advanced enough to understand it)
Calculator (not easy to use; no scientific or advanced mathematical functions; it's an insult to the processor)
Encryption (I'm afraid of using it, yes, my own paranoia)
Facebook (do not need to use this app)
Folders like Documents, Games, Images, Installed files, Other, Sound clips, and Video clips (I have arranged my data in the folders of my choice; unfortunately, I cannnot delete the folders Nokia imposed over me but I never use them)
Front camera (so few people in my contact list like to use the video calls; and I haven't yet found any app to access this camera while not on a video call)
Gallery (doesn't let me control what data I want in there)
IM (do not need to use it)
Internet Radio (I prefer a third party one)
Internet Telephone (do not need to use it)
Lotus Notes email something (it kept reinstalling even after I removed it; had to delete its installer from C drive manually, not visible in the built-in file manager)

Doesn't every single phone on the market contain un-removable apps that are useless to some people but useful to others? Personally I just stick the stuff I don't use in a folder and move it somewhere I won't see it as often.

The me.com website is not designed for or intended to be accessed by iOS devices. Apple provides support in iOS or seperate Apps for accessing all aspects of MobileMe except for the Accounts section.
Use MobielMe as intended and you'll have no problems.

Even if you use a different browser to get access to me.com on iOS, you'll find most of it is unusable.
Other websites that present you with the mobile version have been programmed to do so by their developers. They specifically look for users accessing from 'mobile' devices and switch to the mobile site. Many such sites provide a link to go back to the 'full' site, if not, there's not a lot you can do except use a browser that can pretend not to be a mobile browser.

Go to your contacts, find the contact that you wish to text, hit 'edit', and move that contact's numbers around until the mobile number is at the top. Arduous I know, but it works. Now when you go to text that person, the mobile number should be the default.

You can certainly use Muse for hosting on other hosts as well. You do lose some of the functionality of Business Catalyst such as In Browser Editing. I just saw that you did your current one in Wordpress ... so I assume there is a blog?
If so, keep in mind that Muse alone does not have a blog feature. You can integrate a Business Catalyst Blog into it with a bit of knowledge on how BC works.

Icloud is useless unless you have Outlook on a PC

Do not have updated Outlook on my Laptop. So most of icloud will not work on computer.
Only thing icloud is good for. Is to download itunes on iphone and PC. I founf Gmail to be more usefull for contacts and calenders than icloud.

I don't think Apple spends a lot of time making iCloud work with a PC. After all they really want you to use a Mac or a iPad or something Apple. I agree, that iCloud being accessed only really well through Outlook which I bet most do not even have is only really done for enterprise users and nobody else. I tend to use a browser on my PC when I need to access iCloud. Sad to say this is more of a issue with a closed eco system then anything else. I have similar problems accessing my Microsoft account from my Mac too. So it goes both ways. Both companies deal with compatibility to their own stuff first and make it barely compatible to the others. Its a token gesture I guess.

I have an iMac with Tiger 10.4 OSX. Firefox was my default browser, but for how long? I keep getting told to install the upgrade right away, but it hangs, and when I go to the Firefox site it says it supports 10.4. Then, after clicking in to another page, it says my operating system isn't correct and I cannot upgrade.
Can I:
1)make the upgrade notice disappear?
2) continue to use Firefox - how long before you don't support version 4.12?
3) give up and use Safari?

How do i hide/remove the text above the add-on bar (I guess its the information when you surf) I find it annoying or can I add/move TO the add-on bar so its not so annoying/intrusive?

When you move from site to site, or page to page you get information on the bottom of the browser above the addon bar (if the addon bar is visible) - Id like to remove or hide or move it TO the addon bar instead of being in the main browser window. CAN i do that, and if so - how? I find this text annoying esp since it has a light background and the page you are on has a dark page so its very noticeable/distracting.

You can use the Status-4-Evar extension to replace some functionality that was lost withthe removal of the Status bar in Firefox 4.
Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout" after you have installed the Status-4-Evar extension and drag the items (Status Text, Progress Meter, Download Status) upon the Add-ons Bar (View > Toolbars > [X] Add-on Bar)

Time Capsule useless if you lose your Mac...?

I've just had my logic board replaced by the good people at Apple. When I started up my MB Pro I went to back up to my Time Capsule as usual and it wouldn't see the backups. It wanted to start from scratch as it does the first time you use TC. This actually turned out to be not too much of a problem because my hard drive is completely in tact although it will be a problem if I've since wiped or lost some files. I called Apple and they said it wont recognise your machine because of the change of logic board.
This got me to thinking after I'd hung up with them... What if I'd lost my machine and bought a new one????? As that would have a different logic board, I'm wondering how on earth you get your old data into your new machine? Or, am I missing something..?

For that purpose you would want to use Migration Assistant, located under Applications/Utilities. And I just ran Migration Assistant and it had an option to transfer files and settings from Time Machine to the Mac, but like you say, since they replaced the logic board the Migration Assistant will probably not allow you to use that old Time Machine backup.

Quicktime Movies pretty much useless if you want to put text over them

Bummer. Was hoping there would be much improvement in playing QT movies (especially H.264 movies) within KN3 when using animations or text overlays. This rocks in PPT and in MediaShout - seems simple to do. Anyway, if you put text over a movie and want it to fade in and out, the movie pauses for just a second which makes it look silly. Any ideas how to make this run smoothly. We are constantly wanting to put lyrics over songs that vocalists can follow with bg video playing.

I do know NOT using the presenter display will help as it's bogging down the processor when movies are playing. Hopefully MediaShout for mac will be out sometime in the next few months and you can use that

I work in the medical field and I think it would be awesome if there was an Adobe app that allowed for people to sign pdf's on their cell phone. You can't imagine how useful it would be to get permissions and MD orders signed on the go.

In case anyone is interested, you can go back to Acrobat Pro 11.0.06 and it works again. The official Adobe bug number is 3789347. Adobe has no estimate for fix.

If you have an existing skype account you have used on your PC, can you set that same account up to use your mobile or do you have to have a separate account for your mobile? The user must be signed in on their device with the account that you are trying to contact in order to receive the call. I think you need to be running Skype on the iPhone in order to receive the call; on Skype for Windows Phone 8 Preview, the app can receive calls while it is not running.
You cannot call landline or cell phone contacts from Skype (on any client) without having Skype credit. In the Skype for Windows Phone app, tap the "call" button in the application bar (the one that looks like a phone), and then tap "call Skype" to make a free Skype-to-Skype call.
