iMac will come out? Because I'm thinking about buying a computer, and I'm thinking about getting an iMac. My question is when do you think the next iMac will be released, and should I wait for it or get the Core Duo?

A new computer from ANY company will come out shortly. When they stop releasing new computers is when we have a problem. Really. If you must wait to jump in, then you will always be waiting.
Years ago a friend bought a brand new PC with the absolute fastest processor. He came to work bragging, then asked me (the PC expert), when I thought 'they' would release a faster processor, to which I replied, "Oh, probably tomorrow." We both laughed. The very next day I came in with news of the announcement of a faster processor.
Don't wait. Also, check on the Core Duo - right now we are just about topped out. Check with Intel on future announcements - then figure on how quick Apple will implement this new chip.
Don't wait - do what a brody said. If you have a real need for speed, then wait for the PowerMac line to be released with the Intel chip or buy a G5 PowerMac now.

Does anyone have any information on when the m audio fast track will support mountain lion?

i have just got the latest 13" macbook pro and it came with mountain lion pre installed, in janurary i bought a brand new m-audio fast track audio interface as i saw it was available in the apple store and still is. however apple must be unaware they are selling a product that is not compatable with any of the computers available in the store as the drivers for the interface have not been released( there is one but it doesn't work and isn't the offical driver). m-audio were sold by avid earlier this year and the fast track i have is seeminly still avids problem despite m-audio being sold(so m-audio told me) and avid do not respond to any emails or tweets i have sent them. i tried to sort the issue out with apple customer care but they could provide no answers for me. i am now left with a usless audio interface, and appartantly(according to who i talked to on the phone) lion can't be installed on this model as it won't function correctly, not that i want to have to downgrade my operating system just for the use of an audio interface. so does anyone know whats going on?

I just bought a new macbook pro 13-inch. I ran coconut battery test and it says age of the macbook is 22 weeks. And the battery load cycles shows 4 and battery capacity is 96%. Is this all normal? Does anyone have same issues?

What issues?
Coconut indicates an approximate battery capacity, and 96% is excellent. During testing and run-in, the MBP is charged and discharged, and a cycle count of 4 is appropriate.

Does anyone have a solution to fixing the Facetime echo problem?

I get this echo that occurs only on my end. It's louder than my friends who I video chat with. They use an older model of the MacBook Pro, but they do not have this echo problem. Does anyone have a solution to this?

I have the same problem. If I use an iPad for facetime, it works fine. If I use skype or voip, it works fine. If I use facetime, the other party hears an echo. To fix it 'i have to turn the audio down to inaudible levels. "use headphones" isn't a solution, when it works fine in Skype.
What probably happened is, previous macbooks have had the microphone and speakers sufficiently separate that they've never had to bother with echo cancellation. Now they've screwed up with the positioning on the retina macbook pro and facetime testing never even occurred to them. I've seen plenty of posts about this issue, not a single apple response. Apple really needs to respect their customers more.

I am not being critical, but the TOU prohibit any of us from speculating about future Apple hardware/software plans.

Does anyone have a chart that translates the new weather icons for the IOS7 iPhone?

There are many icons inside the new weather app in iPhone update IOS7 which are difficult to understand. Can you confirm our best guess that the weather for Wednesday and Thursday will be windy? Hope we are right. Does anyone have a chart that deciphers all of those symbols?

Thank you Templeton. Much apprecaite your answers and how swiftly they arrived. There are other symbols that we find confusing. I can't replicate more of them right now. But if you, or anyone knows of a chart that has interpreted most of them, I would be very grateful. I have beeen looking online for quite some time, and am surprised this hasn't been done...at the very least by Apple or Yahoo.

Does anyone have problems with Pages since the upgrade to iOS 8?

The app take very long to open, crash regularly and do weird things with images. It's becoming very annoying because I work all the time with Pages and keep going between other apps and my document. I hope somebody knows about this problem at Apple and is doing something about it.

Just a reply to let you know you're not alone. I'm getting numerous crashes on all iWork apps in iOS 8 on both my iPad and iPhone. I'm not sure if it's a device level software problem or related to the move to iCloud Drive. I just deleted and reinstalled all the iWork apps in hopes the crashes cease. I'll post back in a few days.
It may just be bugs in this initial release of iOS 8. I expect we will see an update within the next few weeks.

I posted this question a while ago and didn't receive any responses but there are a lot of people who have viewed it and 10 have said they have the same question so I thought I would update you that I added my nanny to my exchange server account (created an email for her) and I send all invites to that email address and they work. So sending invites from an exchange server account to a non-exchange server account apparently is a bug so to solve it, get on an exchange server I guess.

Does anyone have any suggestions to improve the performance to improve Firefox for andoid (more details).

I'm using it on a Samsung Captivate SGHi-897 with Jellybean 2.2 (I'm unable to upgrade the OS @this time). Firefox was recommended by a freind, however, so far I've been very disappointed with it, as, it is extremely slow and constanly crashes. I've tried all of the suggestions provided, but there is no improvememt. I realize it may be not all that compatible with this properly working device or OS. I have Samsung Galxaxy SGHi-727 Skyrocket with IC 4.1, however, I've been waiting for a part for it coming from Aisa, which seems to be taking forever, so in the meantime I'm.stuck with this. I was wondering if you may have any suggestions on how to speed it up and prevent it from crashing so much, other than what's on your help guide since those changes I've tried make no improvement in it's performance. I would very much prefer to use Firefox on this device, as well as, after I repair my other device for a number of other reasons, but if I'm unable to improve it, I'll just go back to what I was using. Does anyone know what to do when the OK to disconnect screen stays up?

When i went to turn on my Ipod the OK to disconecct screen was on even though it was not plugged in. I tried re-setting and that didn't work, I tried plugging it in to the wall outlet, and then i tried plugging it into my computer and still no luck. No matter what I try the OK to disconnect sign does not disappear! Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. =) thanks!

Adobe Photoshop Album starter edition crashes every time I sync. It worked fine the first time, but now it crashes and has to close. Does anyone have any ideas on what the problem might be?

This phone is about one month old.

Have you ever had all 7 of them synced before? Are these ringtones you made yourself? Is there a chance they could exceed 30 seconds in length? Is there a chance you have moved the original file location on the computer? May need the answers to a couple more questions to try and determine an answer.

We only know what you can read on Apple's web site. Clearly it doesn't make sense for them to announce new models too far in advance otherwise people would just wait until the new model appeared and not buy the current model.
