I had 2 sucessive kernal panic after down loading the 10.6.8 update Combo V1.1
Can some one tell me if mine has updated the above.
I reinstalled my Snow Leopard on my Mac Book Air 2.1 [128 GB SSD, 2GB RAM, 2.13GHz Intel] using Disk 1 that came with my computer.
I did not look at the Snow Leopard Version after this step.
Then checked for Software Update..which has few one among them was Mac OS X 10.6.8 update combo V1.1
After the download and took me to restart now...which I choose took all 2 third of the way and had a kernal panic.
Restarted in safe mode, ok. Started normally and screen shows a kernal panic log.
Now I could see a change when go to Goole mail that I can log on to my e-mail.(I could not do it just after the Disk 1 installation except on basic HTML)
Also checked on the Apple top corner about this apple where it shows 10.6.8.
Does that mean the install is complete.
Why am I getting these lock up screens?

Here is my Kernel Panic logs. mine started having lock up screens and hence thought re-install will resolve but I still getting it while trying to install my Snow Leopard. Does it suggest failing SDD on my Mac Book air 2.1? What do you think?

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

The 10.10.2 Combo Update is working fine!
But my old problem with Safari is still hear... I'm using Safari 8 and Yosemite 10.10.2 now, but still some sites (iCloud.com, outlook.com, Pinterest, Garmin, Google, ) informs I'm using a non supported version, like Safari 4.
If you have any suggestions I would appreciate.

Hi, thank you very much for your reply. No my phone was never been jailbreak-ed. Never been dropped in water or in any wet surface. Dropped on the floor while texting yes, but it was just a one time incident, last year august i can clearly remember, but after that no more (phone still works fine even after.) restored the phone again earlier, but problem still occured. Will try to go to Apple also to ask and have it checked. Just worried because my phone is already out of warranty. Will keep you posted. Again, thanks. If you have any more advice just let me know. My laptop fell off the coffee table, and slammed shut. It then produced a kernal Panic to restart, which I did. It the brings up the user icons, mine and guest, but will not go past the grey screen with spinner on mine. It does let me into the basic safari setting I had on the guest user, AND when i press option on start up, will let me access the windows partition I have set up and all works fine.
I have tried safe mode, safe mode with display screen and the NVRAM/PRAM restarts, and nothing!
I have let the battery run completely, restarted, filled up the battery before starting.... everything.... anybody have any ideas? else I am going to have to visit a genius! grrrrrrr....

I think I may had a kernal panic...
...I say think, because I just experienced something on my Quad that has not occured before, or on any of my other Macs, either.
I was browsing my EXS library, when suddenly a load of text ( white characters on black background) came up on the upper left side of the display. The appearance was as if it was made up of strips of text. I didn't dwell on this too long, because the fans came on, big time (that's never happened before on the Quad), so I hit the power button on the front and switched off. The text did give info, though, and the last line said something like: "waiting for remote debugger."
I started up the computer again: it took a little longer than usual.The fans powered up briefly, then it booted as normal. I repaired permissions, then verified the system drive: all passed successfully. I restarted from the hard drive and it booted up as always: quick and clean.
So, what was that all about,and should I be concerned? Is there anything else I need to check or do, or should I just forget it?
Thanks for any advice.Unfortunately, since starting to use Logic Pro, I've had more kernal panics than I like to talk about. What you describe, however, does not resemble a kernal panic (where a grey curtain slowly falls upon all your unrecoverable work and the voice of doom (in a dialogue box) tells you that you must restart your computer).
Upon restart from a kernal panic, you will also be invited to send a description to Apple of what you were doing before the dreaded panic happened. You didn't appear to get that invitation. Frankly, I've been using Macs since 1988 and I've never seen what you described.

No, your old Word files should still be where you left them and can be opened by either a current version of Office:mac or even Apple Pages (more or less). The problem that you are having (we think) is that you are trying to run an older version of Microsoft Office:mac (e.g. Office:mac 2004 or older) and this software was compiled for a PowerPC processor. The last few versions of the Mac OS has allowed PowerPC programs to run on an Mac with an Intel processor through a translation system called Rosetta that converted PowerPC code to Intel code. However, Apple stopped providing that software in 10.7 so any PowerPC applications will no longer run.
Office:mac 2008 and Office:mac 2011 will run on an Intel-based Mac and therefore will run on 10.7. -

ACR6.7 for CS5 should also handle D800 images. You may still get a warning message about needing 7.1 (which implies also having CS6), and the manual defringing tool was added to LR after ACR 6.7 came out, but other things should be the same.
If LR 4.2 isn’t reading your D800 images, then perhaps they are being corrupted. If you are using an obsolete version of Nikon Transfer, that could be one way to corrupt them. You may be able to fix Nikon Transfer corrupted NEFs, with this tool: http://owl.phy.queensu.ca/~phil/exiftool/fix_corrupted_nef.html
