I had a 1G. Touch and I just recently upgraded to a 4g and I wanna put all the stuff I backed up from my 1g to my 4g ...how do I do that?

After the set up of your 4G, use the latest backup of your ipod 1G to restore all data and settings. For security reasons you might have to fill in some passwords again for mail or network for example.

Maybe you can let her play on your computer where it may be easier to restrict what she can do, provided there's an OS X equivalent. Of course supervision is probably the safest solution until she is old enough to understand she shouldn't do anything that's not permitted. But then she'd probably be old enough not to need to learn her ABSs.

Can Somebody Please Help Me.?The passcode for Reset All Settings is the same one used to unlock the phone. How have you managed to unlock it without encountering this???
If you can't remember your passcode, restore the phone in iTunes using the same computer it was last synced with. If you try to use another computer, you will be asked for the passcode and your only choice is to force recovery mode. -
My iPhone was restored but the backup with all of my photos etc was not selected and now that backup is gone from my choices. How do I get that back?
But the only iPhone backup was the one with nothing included. It does not have my backup from my iPhone that was backed up right before the reset. Now it is gone and the only iPhone available is the current one missing everything.

They will just exchange it ($149 for latest 8G model) for a rebuilt one--they won't repair that. Make sure you back it up before you take it in.

I don't see any reason why you shouldn't continue to use your existing freeserve.co.uk address. Since you apparently deleted the account in Thunderbird, you'd need to set it up once again.
I can't tell why this didn't work initially, most likely one of your settings wasn't correct.

Don't use the same Apple ID for iMessage. (You can continue to share the same ID for iTunes and have separate IDs for other services such as iMessage and FactTime.
One of you should go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with a different ID. If you're sharing the same ID for FaceTime, do the same thing in Settings>FaceTime to keep from getting each other's FaceTime calls. -
