I had a prepaid card added to my i tunes and now the game is asking to be updated and before i can update i need to put in the prepaid card information but i threw the card away there was no more money on it what do i do?

I just found another address book entry that was repeated 2473 times!!! This is a just a little ridiculous, don't you think? And why that one? Most are ok but ....

What country are you in ? If you are in the US then you can only use the US iTune store, and you can't use a Canadian credit card with the US store - a credit card needs to have been issued by a bank in the country where you are.
If you are in Canada then remove your old credit card from your account and then update your country/region and billing address on your account e.g. by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store on your phone and 'view Apple id' on the popup, or via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes

I agree- I apologize if I sounded skeptical and attacking. In no way did I mean it to sound that way.
I completely agree on the software-hardware combo issue- this is why apple killed off 1G and 2G devices- because newer software revisions would never ever run well if at all on such ancient devices. can you imagine running iOS 6 on an iPhone/iPod touch 1G? That would be terrible. Let alone iOS 3 runs terrible on them and now are generally rendered useless due to newer App Store requirements (most require 4.3+ now to allow apple to kill off the older devices). forcing newer software on older hardware (apple, dell, HP,... Anything electronic this definitely applies to) will almost always yield less-than-par results. The other part is apple forcing you to upgrade by means of intentially making things obsolete. all companies do that.
All of this factual info aside, the issue at hand with the 5 is not a software-hardware combo problem- those are most widely seen with the major revisions. then again, this isn't the first time apple has gotten caught up in battery drain snafus (even iOS 5 was plagued with this as well- and now there are some people desperate to roll back but can't). it basically waters it down to the point where keeping the stock software will always yield the best results even though newer versions provide better features- it all depends on whether or not the person deems the added features are worth a performance hit.
PS. I'm still at 100%- and I've been using it periodically throughout the day. your combo worked for you, but didn't for me. And may or may not work for others- As the tech world would say, mileage may vary.
PSS. What model/carrier do you have? Just wondering.

i am using office2007 with windows7 premium home edition. i have checked file associations., all DDE settings. i have even tried this in safe mode. the same thing happens. please note once i see the error. i can then go back to the file click on
it a second time and it WILL open. AND i can open any file if i open excel and and find the file from there. i uninstalled and re-installed office 2007 from scratch. And i checked the compatibility mode (all un-checked) still the problem persisits. this is
a real PITA. anyone have any solution for this? Thanks

Have you try to un-select the Ignore other applications that use Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) setting?
Click the Microsoft Office Button, and then click Excel Options.
Click Advanced, and then click to clear the Ignore other applications that use Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE)
check box in the General area.
Click OK.
If the problem cannot resolve, the Run as administrator may selected.
Go to Office default install location: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12.
Right-click EXCEL.EXE > Properties >
Compatibility tab.
Under Privilege Level, uncheck Run this program as an administrator
check box.

Need to duplicate "colorize" effect on adjustment layer, but did it the wrong way apparently...

I'm designing a ring of fire for a client and have used -Image -Adjustments -Hue and Saturation to color my layers, which were originally just a dotted white ring. I then duplicated the layer and added an overlay lighting effect several times to get the result I was after. I am very satisfied with how it has turned out, as is my client. My problems lies in the fact that I now need to duplicate the exact colorizing and lighting effects on a word that has been manipulated to look as if it is also on fire. I didn't realize that when "coloring" this way there was no way to go back and see the values I used so that I could duplicate them later if necessary.. I have done a lot of reading, and now realize I should have used the adjustments pallete so that I could apply the same effect to other layers and be able to reuse it, but alas, it is too late for that. I REALLY don't want to have to spend all the time I spent redoing this to get to where I need to be. Any ideas? Please, and thank you in advance!

If I paid hard earned money for the card from a computer company why would that card not be in their data base waiting to be activated? I guess I am out $20 to Apple for not activating immediately! My account was hacked once so I won't put a credit card in and live with gift cards. Now I am getting hit for $20, two gift cards for ten each. I now question who and how people are making money?? Is my only solution, buy card, redeem code instantly, purchase item?

Personally, I would never use a debit card online, for security reasons. If your card gets hacked its your money that is stolen. At least with a credit card it is the card providers money that is stolen.
Anyway, I would delete the app and re-install. If you paid for the app in the first place you will be able to re-install free of charge. Also, the app should allow the in-app purchase to happen again as it should recognise that you have already purchased it previously.
Finally, it might be that the 3G doesnt have as much ram as more recent models of iphone and you may have applications running in the background that are preventing the app to function with the in-app purchase unless you shut down any apps eating all you memory that are running in the background. Shut-down these apps (and the simpson tap out app) by exiting to your home screen and double-tapping the home button to show what apps are running in the background. press and hold any of the open apps until it starts shaking. close all the apps down. exit then re-launch the app.

You can loo up your purchases in your purchase history ( in your account in itunes) and unlike music, you can redownload apps.
