You can't gift it, gifting can only be done from within the store, not from within your library.

Before you restore the iPod make sure that your iTunes library has the version of apps that are presently installed on your iPod. Restore your phone as a new device. If that does not work see if you can try a SIM from someone else's phone. If that SIM does not work then the problem is the phone. If the borrowed SIM works then the problem is with your cell provider. In fact, if you went to a retail location for your provider they should have tried another working SIM to determine where the problem is located. If the problem is in your device you will probably have to get an out of warranty replacement if your phone is out of warranty. Being a 4S I suspect the device is out of warranty.

Are you both using the same Apple ID?
Also check Settings > Messages > Send & Receive > make sure it only contains your unique phone number and e-mail address de-select those entries belonging to your husband.
Do the same on his phone (de-select yours)

Font Size and the scale (size) at which a document is printed is controlled within the application just before the job is sent to the printer - this means the size is set from your browser (Firefox, Internet Explorer) or perhaps your Editor (Word). Generally speaking, most applications use Print Preview -- or a variation of that program under a different name.

Select the folderr containing all of those files, CMD+I, click on the lock, enter your admin password, add yourself with read & write, and click on the action button and select apply to enclosed items. That should do the trick. BTW, I don't have a PC, so i've not transfered any such files to my machine.

You. as many other people purchased storage in icloud instead of getting yourself a bigger device (iphone/ipad/ipod). Device storage does not increase with icloud storage purchase. Just like other people you may have to contact Apple for refund and in the future look into buying bigger sized iphone.

you have definitely tried the correct steps, all you would need to do now is a back up & restore to factory settings. If after that the issue remains then you would most likely need a replacement unit.

The Apple ID for future purchases is in Settings>Store>Apple ID. However, apps have to be updated using the Apple ID used to originally purchase them. This can't be changed. If the App store is asking you to provide a password for a different Apple ID when you are updating apps, it's because this ID was used to purchase it originally.

If you are sure that you have sound in other apps - and if you can still hear keyboard clicks and get notifications, then system sounds are not muted. Try this and see if it works.
Close all apps completely and reboot the iPad.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
