When you go through Setup Assistant on a new iOS device, choose "Restore from iCloud Backup" and enter your iCloud account and password. You will see the three most recent backups for each of the devices on which you enabled Backup. Choose from which backup to restore.

You need iTunes installed and running on the computer, and yes, you use the same cords for charging and for data transfer.

I completely understand what you are trying to say. Regardless of what YOU are saying are facts, its my device. YOU don't know what glitches, issues or age defined viruses may take place on my device. Anything is possible. YOU may think you're an expert but i'm positive that you haven't seen everything. On the other hand I full-heartedly appreciate your help in telling me I can never get my data back. Im sure you know a lot about apple and can help many others that need help (no sarcasm at all). Since this is the second computer you've had this problem with, I recommend you look for answers on the iPhone forum. My thinking is it is an iPhone issue rather than a computer issue (unless it is some software incompatibility).

As long as they are already ticked in your iTunes then yes. Just to check do a sync and as long as everything stays the same you are good to go.

For future reference, if your iPhone misbehaves, always try a Reset. It's painless and often solves the problem.
Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears (ignore the Slide to Power Off option that shows up first).
