I had back my contacts but now i restore my all contacts are not showing

i had backup my contacts two times on icloud at 13/11/13 then replace my iphone . now i restore my contacts from icloud but my contacts are not showing.

Did you sync your contacts with iCloud on your old phone by turning on contacts in Settings>iCloud? If so, are you contacts on icloud.com when you check using your computer?

Once I updated my phone to to iCloud, now all of my contacts are not showing up in my contact list but if I type in the number, they show up. How do I fix this?

I also have this problem, just from the iPhone 5s which makes my life crazy, too.
The problem of having multiple devices doesn't seem to help, but the odd part is when everything I am doing is correct, it still doesn't sync like it used to do before iCloud, and when we had to USB wire connect the iPhone to the Laptop to make contacts sync.
Might I add that I am not using MAIL on my LAPTOP?
but ?Britty sounds like her issue is easier as gmail sometimes can create duplicates so you are in good if you are not having that problem or nightmare...

I've tried several things but message+ acts like there are no contacts in the app yet there are names and pictures in my conversations. Can anyone help me?

Let's make sure that we get you up and running with no issues. I want to make sure that we are on the same page. Are your contacts actually listed in the address book on your phone? Are you using Verizon Messages? Or the third party Messages from the Play Store? Please keep us posted.

This is a HUGE iOS bug.. Following a tip from another poster, I was able to fix the issue (temporarily).
This worked for me on Verizon.
I dialed *228 on my Verizon phone. I pressed "1" to activate it over the air. I then went into task manager and killed all the running apps.. Waited a few minutes.
The next text I got displayed the number correctly!.. Until I rebooted, that is.
PLEASE, call Apple and speak with a senior engineer on this. They can't fix it if they don't know it's a problem! (800) MY-IPHONE

Apps needing access to Contacts are not showing in the Privacy pane of security

I have apps like cobook and Alfred that need access to Contacts but they are not showing in the Privacy pane of the Security & Privacy System Preferences.

Back up all data.
Triple-click the line below to select it:
~/Library/Application Support/com.apple.TCC/TCC.db
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
Services ▹ Reveal
from the contextual menu.* A Finder window should open with an item selected. Move the selected item to the Desktop, leaving the window open. Log out, log back in, and test. All your privacy settings will be reset to their defaults. If there's no change, put the item you moved back where it was, overwriting the one that may have been created in its place, and log out again. Otherwise, delete the item you moved.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C). In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar, paste into the box that opens (command-V). You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.

Lastest iWeb on Maverick working fine, but well I upload website, photo grids are not showing!

I have the lasted iWeb and Maverick. I open iWeb and everything is fine, I can see photo grids, add images, change text...etc. I can publish the site to a folder on desktop and upload it using Cyberduck. However, once I check the website, the photo grids are not showing. I tried opening it in different browers, deleting Caches, publishing the whole site, publishing just the change page, nothing seems to be working.
After publishing, I check the folders and the media files and images are there, but they will not upload to website. What's going on?

Then you've not uploaded all of the files to the server. With Cyberduck you should get a Finder link window of your account folder on the server. There you can manually upload the site folder to your account and have it replace the existing site folder. Watch the upload carefully to see if there are any messages about files not uploaded, etc.
What's the URL of your site so we can examine it first hand?

i have just bought I phone 4 S. ilove the phone. i am using smart phone for the very first time. i got my contacts from my Nokia 6500 to my i phone. Now the thing is i want to make groups in my i phone. by in contact all my contacts are showing in:
1- all contacts
2- Icloud contacts.
how do i add from all contacts or icloud contacts in the groups that i made like Family, Friends and others.
i would like my phone to ring diffrent when some one from diffrtent group call or i want to send SMS to certain group.

I just bought an Android tablet today and added the Skype App to it. I can log in just fine but for some reason several of my contacts are missing. They are in my contacts on my computer but all but five of them are missing from my Android including my daughter. Help! I have no idea which version of the Skype App I am using because I can not figure out how to look that up. I assume it is the most recent version since I just downloaded it today.

You can't see them in what 'music file' ? If you mean your computer's iTunes library then have you copied all of it from your old computer : iTunes: How to move your music to a new computer, or copied it from your backup of your library ?
You might be able to redownload your iTunes music purchases (depending upon what country that you are in and if it is still available in your country's store) via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page. If music shows there but not all, then check to see if any is hidden : iTunes Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases

Your tags show that you are using iMovie '08. From memory (and I may be wrong), this version didn't have a chapter marker feature. I believe users were advised to use GarageBand for inserting chapters, then exporting to iDVD.
How did you set up the chapters?
EDIT: One other point - perhaps you are using iMovie '11 (or '09) and you have used Comment Markers - not Chapter Markers? They are side-by-side on the far right of the Project window.

All I want to do is sync my contacts on my iphone to my mac and I can't do it. It appears to be the Maverick thing that jazzed this up but I don't understand why I can't see the contacts now with icloud?

Your problem is being caused by the fact the iCloud only syncs contacts that belong to the iCloud account. It will not sync contacts from external account such as your exchange account. To sync them with iCloud, you will have to copy the contacts to your iCloud account, then disable contacts syncing with your exchange account (to avoid seeing duplicate contacts on your phone). I can give you the steps to do this if that's what you want to do. (You can't, however, get your FB contacts in iCloud.)

I accidentally installed Genieo and now my folders on my desktop are not showing my files

I accidentally downloaded some version of install.mac. I have used the uninstall application and this has reset my browser setting on chrome which is good! However, I can no longer see my files from opening any folder on my desktop. I have restarted my computer many times and I still see the same thing when I open my folders. Please help! I went through all of these steps. I also downloaded AVG antivirus. It detected nine files that may have been malware and I deleted them. I have restarted my computer several times after this and the folders on my desktop are still not displaying properly. Also my folders are unable to be dragged around the desktop. The whole desktop is messed up.
