I had Lightroom 5, my computer crashed, I reinstalled it from Creative Cloud but it keeps saying my activation code is invalid, why?
I had Lightroom 5, my computer messed up and I had to refresh it, well it deleted Lightroom so I reinstalled it again. When I put the serial number in it keeps saying it is invalid. Why?

Just user to user....based on past and current history, Adobe Tech Support is not going to help you with a technical issue which is preventing you from using your purchased serial number for Photoshop Elements. Version 12 is not the current version. And, the Adobe Tech Support is limited even for the current version which is 13. If this matter involves a purchased activated serial number trapped on a crashed computer while you are trying to install on a 3rd computer, then probably Adobe Chat Activation can be of assistance. c. Do the install with antivirus and firewall(s) disabled.

Had to replace battery, which wiped out everything. Backed up from the cloud, but when I hook to computer, won't sync. Keeps asking if I want to re-store the phone.

I have a subscription for Adobe Photoshop CC and Adobe Lightroom. I've just successfuly installed Photoshop from Creative cloud app, though I can't find there the Lightroom. I installed a trial version of Lightroom from Adobe.com, use it in a trial mode because there is no way to activate it.

You can activate your software on two computers. If you need to install it on a third machine (because one of the first two crashed), then you need to https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html to reset your activation count.
If you just want to reinstall it on one of the first two machines, then just reinstall and re-activate it with your serial number. -

My old computer crashed before I could de-install cloud - how do I get it on my new computer?
I got Creative Cloud through my school last semester. Just a month ago, my computer crashed and I had to have my hard drive replaced, losing my entire creative cloud. I got a new computer and tried to reinstall cloud but when I put in my depemption it says that its already been redeemed. Which, I would expect, since I was never able to deactivate cloud on my last harddrive.
How do I go about getting the programs onto my computer now?You simply sign in with your Adobe ID in CC app. There is no need to run the redemption procedure just for a reinstall. If you need to reset activations, contact support by web chat.

I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 for Windows 7. I need to re-install it because my computer crashed. I saved the outer box, but I do not see a serial number and it is asking for it when I am trying to install the CD software. I went online, but the only serial number I see is when I registered the Photoshop Elements 2.0.

How do I get back "devellopment" in Lightroom 5. It has been disabled after I have downloaded a trialversion of Creative Cloud but did not purchase it.
Uninstall the trial version of the creative cloud. This process will not interfere with your catalog, preferences and personal files it will just remove the application.
Download the Perpetual License version of LR 5.6 at the link below. Install and enter your serial number, voila.

After you have downloaded the update, attach your iPad to your computer, open iTunes and select your iPad in the devices list. Press & hold the Option/Alt key and click the Check for Update button. Browse to where you downloaded the update and Choose it. iTunes will handle the rest.
