Dear Apple Suppor Communities,
unfortunatly i had lost my iphone 4s and i tried to find it with some application such as (( found my iphone ))

but unfortunatly i got no respond since the iphone is off and didnt connected to the internet yet
please can you help me to get it back or track it at least since i had lost in an international airport.

If not, you have to be connected to internet (via 3G, 3G LTE, Wi-Fi) otherwise you can't track it. You can try to use a third-party tracker (may cost you)

If you had "Find My iPhone" enabled in Settings > iCloud then you may be able to locate it. If not, you cannot locate it.
If it was enabled then you can try locating it via http://icloud.com on a computer or the App "Find My iPhone" on another iDevice. You can also tell your iPhone to "Play Sound", enter "Lost Mode", or "Erase".
Note: this will only work if your device is connected to a network and the device hasn't already been restored as new and/or "Find My iPhone" has not been disabled on it. Note: Disabling "Find My iPhone" is much more difficult in iOS 7.
If you think that your device was stolen rather than lost then you should report it to the police. In either case you should contact your carrier, change your iTunes account password, your email account passwords, and any passwords that you'd stored on websites/emails/notes etc.

I dowload the app " find my iphone" on my computer and when i was looking at it I saw another divece that i didnt recognize, since i have just 1 Iphone, so I clicked in erase that device, some minutes later i got a call from my Friend that is in Brazil and she said my number pop out in her phone with a message " your iphone is locked, please call this number wich was my phone number. Now the scenario is, her iphone is locked and I dont know what to do, and why my iphone was linked with hers ?
She lives in Brazil and I live in the USA.
Please I need help.

The two of you were uing the same Apple ID for iCloud
You used the list of "Devices" to lock your iPhone but selected the wrong iPhone
In order to lock that device, you needed to enter a lock code.. Tell your friend that code and she will be able to unlock it. The process will work just as if a lost iPhone was returned to the rightful owner. -

Contacts are not a part of back up.
Contacts are sync with a compatible programme on your computer depending on your operating system (Windows or Mac). For example, Microsoft Outlook (for both Windows and Mac), Windows Contacts (for Windows) and Addressbook (for Mac).
Or contacts are also backed up in iCloud (depending if you chose to do so).
So, sync back the contacts from any of these programmes. If you have not made a backup of your contacts in any of these progammes, then they are gone.

The good news, if you purchased the music in iTunes, it is linked to your apple id. You can re-download the content at no additional charge (as long as it is still available in the iTunes store).

I lost my iphone and had to replace it. All my contacts were on my original iphone which wasa a version 4.
I had to replace the phone and now have a 4S. I had never backed up my original phone. How do I download all my contacts to icloud etc so I can upload to my new 4S?
Right now the original phone is "disabled" and it tells me I have to enter my 4 digit pin. It also says the only calls I can make are for assistance...

How do I keep the data backed up that is on both iphone and ipad.In Regards to this, You possibly wont be able to get the contacts from the iPhone 4 unless there is a back up file on your computer.
The original phone would be disabled due to alot of attempts of the wrong passcode. If all your contacts are on the cloud at the moment, you would be able to just set the iPhone 4S up with iCloud on it then Turn On "Contacts".
This would be bring all the contacts down from your iCloud onto your 4S.
But you will only be able to merge your contacts with the cloud when your original iPhone either has been enabled or the passcode was entered.
If you have previously already had iCloud on that device and have contacts Turned on, you will be able to just enter the same Apple ID you used for iCLoud on your original phone and use it on your new one.
Your able to check what content your iCloud holds via www.icloud.com
If you are unable to get past the disabled screen, then unfortunately the device will have to be put into recovery mode and then restored via iTunes NOTE: This will delete all data. -
I just purchased the new iPhone4 but when I went to plug it into Itunes for the first time I found that I had lost al of my photos, videos and music. I thought I had backed up my old Iphone by plugging it into Itunes before turning it in. Is there anyway to recover my photos and such?

Assuming they are in your iTunes library, sync them back to your phone. If they aren't, you can redownload any music purchased from the iTunes store for free (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519), but you will have to re-import music from other sources to your iTunes library then sync it back to your phone.
