I had my i tunes on my old computer and lost everything- how do I access that music?

I thought by logging in to my i tunes on my new computer I would be able to access my library- or at least songs that I had purchased on itunes. I dont see them though, help!

If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup copy of your computer, not good, then you can redownload some purchases in some countries.

Keep in mind that the recovered photos will not be in their full resolution, but instead will be the scaled down versions that were optimized in size and resolution to fit your iPod's smaller LCD screen.

I logged in then connected my ipod Touch so that i couldget more music but it said that i have to erase everything on it in order to sync with the new library. I got my music from a bunch of old CD s so 'Transfer purchases' will not work I want to know how to get my music from my ipod to the new library. I have no access to my old computer and i do not have Home Share. I am lost without my music so please help ASAP. i do have icloud though but I dont know if it saves music *** well.. PLEASEEE HELP!

FireWire cables are dirt cheap and that's how you should be doing the migration. You might have to start over, wiping the new machine's HD, and restoring the software as described in the Everything Mac manual that came with it. See Best Practices and Setup new Mac for more details.

The music sync is one way - computer to ipod. the exception is itunes purchases.

Apps are permanently tied to the ID and password used to purchase them. If you do not remember that information, you cannot update them. If you ned these apps, you will have to repurchase them under your new ID.

I noticed that I had a new link for beta 8 I clicked on it and it crashed my whole computer after alot of research I finally had to do a restore. I had a tile I used all the time and lost it-how can I get it back?

I really like the tiles in the new tab window. I used to have one for the local craigslist which is the site I go to the most. Somehow that tile got removed. Maybe a guest user on my computer deleted it. I don't really know, but I'd like to get it back. So, how can I add it or at least remove the delete setting so it will come back?

Maybe try to visit the site again. Then you might be able to add it back.
