I had my own laptop with my own iTunes account on it. However the laptop is now broken. My partner has his laptop but his already got his own iTunes account. How can I sync my iPod and iPhone to this laptop but use my iTunes?

Can we both use the same iTunes but get all our music ect into one? Or can we share our separate accounts between devices? We both have iPod touch, iPhone 4 and an iPad each. At the moment I can't seem to get to my iTunes as it come up that it will delete everything in my phone/iPod but u have downloaded things to the devices directly and don't want to lose that?

To set up a new Windows user account, if it is Windows 7, go to Start > Control Panel > User Accounts and Family Safety > Add or Remove User Accounts > Create New Account.
The old laptop is probably on Windows XP, so the menus may look a little different.
Once they each have their own Windows user account, they can each work with their own iTunes library, and all content will be independently managed. That should avoid snarls and demerits in the coming year.

You can download all previous purchases to any device ascociated to your account, just go in the iTunes app on your device and go to the more section then to the purchases and find your desired purchase to redownload. The other responder gave you a program that will transfer stuff from your iPod to your new computer. You can transfer iTunes purchaces to your new computer by:

After you move your stuff to your new computer you will have to let iTunes erase your iPod and then sync with the stuff that is now in your iTunes library. You will loose app data though.

How is your iPod configured to sync content from your iTunes library? Any error messages during the sync process?
You may want to reset warnings on the device by right->clicking on it under Devices and choosing Reset Warnings. Then resync the iPod to see if any alerts appear.
Is this the same computer you normally sync the Nano with?

You might consider itunes match for moving CDs you've copied into your itunes library if you dont have a way to use home sharing.
iTunes match is an optional service offered by apple that costs about $25 a year. It scans your music library and if it finds music that is already in apple's itunes catalog it'll automatically "unlock"/"store" these in the cloud for you. If you connect your ipod to your computer then look in the hidden folder labeled "iPod_Control" . (This is on a Mac version, but i think it's the same for Windows) and in "Music" is all your music mixed up in different folders. Just drag the MUSIC folder onto itunes then BAM! It's done ;D
