I had the bottom case of my MacbookPro replaced and now I can't print help?

Hi I had the bottom case to my Macbook Pro 2.33 Ghz intel core 2 duo replaced. Prior to this the machine worked perfectly. Now it can't connect to the internet using DHCP and it won't print either over the internet or with the printer plugged in directly. I can connect over airport to the internet if I manually put in the IPv4 address, the Subnet mask and the Router address. These are the only things I have found (so far) that are affected. I dowloaded and reinstalled the printer driver and it still doesn't work. Any ideas as to what they have done to my machine ?

When the ethernet cable is plugged in it does show as plugged in. The interesting thing is that the self assigned IP and Subnet mask address is the same as the self assigned IP and Subnet mask address is for Airport and they don't work. I have to manually enter them and the router address in order to go on the internet. There are 4 other computers using this network and no other computer on the network is having this issue nor did this laptop prior to the bottom case replacement, so I don't think it is the router modem or airport extreme base station.
It shows:
IPv4 address: 169.254.197.177
Subnet Mask: 255.255.0.0
These numbers are quite off from what they should be. Also this doesn't show a router address and it should.

beggsc54, There were some printing bugs in iTunes 11.0 which reportedly have been fixed in 11.0.1. If you haven't upgraded yet, install the latest iTunes and try again.

Since upgrading to 10.8 I've had alot of issues burning DVD's. I've had the drive replaced and now I can burn from a new user account but not the old one. Is there any way of making the old one work?

This disc can’t be verified and might be unreliable. Try again using a new blank disc (error code 0x80020063).
Originally I thought it was the old Moutain Lion DVD drive issue (but have had the drive recently replaced by Apple), so I tried creating a new account, which worked.
In the old account I have reset SMU, Pram... but no change.

Go to your Applications folder>Utilities>AirportUtility.app>and there set up your Airport service. Then return to your Applications folder>Sytem Preferences>Network> and there turn on the WiFi on your iMac.

When you buy software, the serial number is really what you're buying, since the software is typically downloadable. So don't throw it away in the future.
If you registered the software before you threw away your serial number, then Adobe may have a record of your purchase.

If the failed installation of Java is preventing your computer from shutting down normally, then I'd like you to please first try to force quit the unresponsive installer.

You tried to remove the music from iTunes on your Mac how?
Do you have Sync Music selected under the Music tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes on your computer?

Replaced the bottom case on MBP (2006)...now screen is blank!? Need help ASAP...please!

I just replaced the bottom case on my 2006 MBP (model A1211). I previously replaced the top case, optical, and disk drives and all has been running as good as new for months. I used the instructions on ifixit.com to replace the bottom case, following the instructions exactly. Now when I go to turn the computer on, the screen doesn't turn on. I thought maybe a connection or screw was loose, so I disconnected and reconnected everything. All connections are tight, no screws are loose or missing. What am *I* missing??

I updated my phone the other day to 4.3.4 and now I can't send photo messages? Or is there a new way to send photos?

Like the title states, I use to be able to go to a text message and click the little camera image to the left of the text box and select or take a photo, now that option is gone. I tried going to my photo library and click on the options button to send as mms but I only have a print option, email, assign as contact ID or use as wallpaper.... No mms option.
Where and how do I send photos in a text message again. Seems like we're back to square one again.

OS X Mavericks takes away the ability for calendar/contacts syncing through the computer. You'll have to use iCloud, or manually type them in.

You did the wrong things. In the future it's a good idea to remember not to do something when you don't know what you are doing and what happens when you do it.

     Enter resetpassword at the prompt and press RETURN. Follow

I had to break the sync in FF4 to test something and now I can't get sync set up again.

I had sync working in FF just fine but needed to export my bookmarks to another browser. Only way I could find to do that was to break the sync so it would allow me to export to HTML.
Now I can't re-establish the sync. I do this:
Click on Tools > Set up Sync
Click Connect on the Sync Setup dialog box
Click I don't have this device with me on the next dialog box
Sign in with my email & password but since I don't know my sync key, I enter random text.
It tells me it's the wrong key but won't give me the option to reset the key that I see in other questions/answers in this forum.

To facilitate the WDS set up, try the following:
o Perform a "factory default" reset on all of the AirPort base stations to be used in the WDS.
o Place the base stations within near proximity of each other during the set up phase, and then, relocate them to their desired locations when complete.
o To avoid having to "switch" wireless networks during the WDS setup, attach each of the remote/relay base stations, via an Ethernet cable, to the main base station. Of course, this would be dependent on the AirPort types used.
o Be sure to jot down the MAC address for each of the base stations to be used in the WDS as these will be required during the setup.
o When enabling wireless encryption, configure the relay/remote base stations first and the main base station last.
