If the word "Off" is sort of cloudy and the settings are greyed out - that means you do not have restrictions enabled - but just in case - do you use a passcode to lock the iPad?
Exactly what message are you getting and where are you getting the message - what does the "email icon" mean?

I can no longer receive e-mail messages through my @mac/@me account, though I still seem to be able to send messages. I believe there may have been recent attempts to hack into my Mail account (my LinkedIn and Facebook accounts were both hacked three days ago and a scam/phishing message sent to my contacts, and I know there was at least an attempt made to hack into one of my e-mail accounts). I have already changed my Apple password, but how do I start receiving mail again?
(And I should also say that I'm a little surprised there was no alert from Apple of suspicious activity on my account, if such was the case. Instead, when I logged into my account via Mobile Me three days ago I noticed that all messages in my inbox were gone as well as all of my contacts. I assume this was related to the current problem.)
Thanks for all responses.The problem has been solved with the help of a MobileMe online counsellor. My MobileMe account had in fact been hacked into and the fraudster had been redirecting my e-mail messages to a phony account that he controlled. We took the forward off and reset all my passwords and security questions, which solved the immediate problem.

I just downloaded IOS 8 on my Iphone 5 and to do so i had to delete all my photos to clear space, but before so I selected all of them and copied them. The only place I can seem to be able to paste and see them is while making a new message in gmail and then when i tried to send them the message comes back blank and looks like below. what can i do to retrieve them?
<Edited by Host>As razmee209 said, you can use iTunes to install photos on your phone from wherever you have them stored. Where did you copy them to? Are you saying you selected them on you phone and just hit "copy"? That would only copy one at a time to the "clipboard" so that you can paste it somewhere else. As you copy each one, the previous one is deleted from the clipboard. This is not a storage area. Did you back them up on your computer or in iCloud?

I had a iPhone 3G and I change it in to a iPhone 4G 32GB! I have 3 apple ID account. The one I used is <edited by host> and I know my password but it ask me for my security question and I forgot it! It send a veify email the answer the an email to <edited by host> and the email <edited by host> that is my other apple ID and the password work on apple but my yahoo account I forgot my password and security question and it won't verify to my email on to my apple email. so it send the answer to <edited by host> and I can't get it! So Can u do something? Both account r also on my iCloud. I can open both apple account but it won't let me buy nothing on my <edited by host> ! It's a really bad idea to post your email addresess - it's an invitation to spam - and I've asked the Hosts to remove them.
This is a user-to-user forum and no-one on here can take any direct action. If your Yahoo address is not working that's something you would need to take up with Yahoo - have you checked it by sending yourself an email to it?
Otherwise you will need to contact Support: go to https://expresslane.apple.com/ and click on 'iTunes' in the center column and then 'iTunes Store' in the right-hand column and proceed from there. -

That's an error reported from DVD Player I believe...
kDVDErrorMissingGraphicsDevice = -70017, // A valid graphics device is not available.
There's some conjecture it has to do with HDCP, or Video Card problems, but the only 2 cures/fixes I found were Software related, one was cured by updating the OS, another by replacing the Video kexts.
I think this error also shows up if trying to use DVD player in Safe Mode, (too much research isn't good! ).

Applications should not disappear all by themselves.
If they are then that coud indicate serious problems with your hard drive.
Backup everything up as quickly as possible.
Using Disk Utility verify your system disk.

In my dock there was this weird program called "tutorial". While throwing away this program I had to fill in my password. Afterwards I tried to change my password, but my old password doesn't work anymore. Who can help?
What was this program for, or did you just assume it's something you shouldn't have and therefore arbitrarily decide to "throw it away"? Exactly how did you supposedly throw it away?
If you didn't change your administrator password, there's no reason it shouldn't work now, so that suggests you did something else, or changed it and then forgot what it was.
You can't recover that password; you can only change it. To do that, you would need to boot from your Snow Leopard DVD, choose your language, then choose Reset Password from the Utilities menu in the top menu bar. -

Delete the affected email account from your device.
