I had to reload my email on my Iphone 6. Now I can't delete a message. It just says Archive Message or Cancel. HELP! Thank you.
Go into the settings for that particular email account and you can change the setting from Archive to delete.

Just started using iCal with Mobile Me and just out of curiosity, I had a peek at Rock 'n Rollers birthdays and once it's opened, it goes into your calendar and I can't delete it.
Can anyone help with this? I've tried looking for the .ics file in my downloads and deleted them, but it's still there.
I tried to uncheck the HOME calendar of where it automatically downloaded, and of course there are other events that are in there and if I check it again, they just come back.
It's clogging up valuable space on my calendar.

It is better to subscribe to calendars rather than download them into a local calendar. I have looked at the calendar and the only common element is the text " *" in the title. Below is an Applescript that searches your "Home" calendar and locates events with this text It then gives you an option to delete each one so so you don't delete any 'false positives'.
Copy the script into a new Applescript Editor window (Applications > Utilities > Applescript Editor) and press Run.

Do a backup.
Take notes of all account information or take screen shots. You may need to set the accounts up again. Quit Mail.
Copy the line below.
~/Library/Mail/V2
Select Go/Go To Folder from the Finder menu bar. Paste the line into the window. You won't see it.
That should show you the accounts. Select the appropriate inbox and dig around in the folders until you find the e-mail matching the number. Try to delete/move to the trash. If successful, launch Mail and test.
If you prefer to make your user library permanently visible, use the Terminal command found below.

You might want to bookmark the command. I had to use it again after every update. I have also been informed that if you drag the user library to Finder it will remain visible. -

If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer your questions) then you will need to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset (these are user-to-user forums).

I want to update iCloud account with new apple id but don't know password for old apple id. Plus can no longer receive email at old apple id. How can I delete the current iCloud account on my iPhone if the previously stated conditions exist?
If the old ID is yours, and if it is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

I changed my Apple ID (other email address and password) and now I can not login to my account in the iPhone iCloud. When I open the tab iCloud displayed my old Apple ID (it was in the iCloud) and asks for a password, but neither the old nor the new password does not match. What to do?
If you want to change your iCloud ID or password on your phone go to Settings>iCloud and tap Delete Account, then sign back in with your updated information. Note: this only deletes the account and any synced data from your phone, not from iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account and not changing accounts it will be synced back to your device when you sign back in.

Call Apple with the Serial and they will send you the ones that came with the Mac. Or search the Net.

Email on my iphone wasn't updating so I deleted the acct. Iphone won't verify acct. when I tried to add that acct back. Message says check network connection and that I entered correct info in the "Incoming Mail Server" field.
Where would I find that?You are sure that you have entered the correct username and password in the incoming mail section?
As far as using the iPhone with the Mac, I'm not a Mac user, so I cannot say. I do know that with Windows, the only time the iPhone will appear in Explorer is if there are photos in the Camera Roll. Otherwise you have no other access to the file system. -

Something doesn't make any sense here, because iMessage ONLY works between you and anyone using an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 5, you couldn't iMessage someone that DIDN'T meet those requirements, if you wanted to. Are you positive this contact does not meet the requirements to iMessage?
