After I reset my iPhone 4 there was the update for IOS 7 so I installed it. Now I can't find the option to assign different ringtones to my contacts? I used to be able to assign a different ringtone to each contact so I'd know who was calling/texting me. Is it just me? Or did they remove that? I hope not. It's one of the reasons I chose iPhone over any other model of mobile phone.

SIMPLE iOS 7, they removed quite alot of useful features such as that, you have to preset a ringtone, in your settings. Settings>Sounds.

I backed up to my MacPro and synced my Iphone but somehow when I was syncing and ITunes popped up, it froze my Iphone and I had to restore to factory settings just to get my Iphone to work again.
how can I get my lost emails back and also apps I paid for, as for some reason it is showing what my Iphone looked like back in 2011 in terms of what contacts, apps, photos and emails I had. It also only shows text messages from back in 2011. I need those text messages back.

AngelaWithout connecting your phone, open iTunes on your computer and go to preferences. On the Devices tab is a list of your available backups. Unless a newer one is listed your can't get you information back. If a newer backup is listed, do the following:
Without connecting your phone, open iTunes on your computer and go to Preferences. On the Devices tab check "Prevent...from syncing automatically".
Connect your phone to your computer, right-click on the name of your phone when it appears in iTunes on the left sidebar and select Restore from Backup, choose your most recent backup to restore from.
When complete, you can go back to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and re-enable automatic syncing.
Your apps should be in your iTunes library and can be synced back to your phone. If they aren't, redownload them in iTunes for free (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519) and sync them back to your phone. -
I reset my phone6+ the other day..now when I put an appointment in calendar 2 appointment show up..the one I entered as well as one in (GMT) that's like way off from what I entered. I know that something just needs to be turned off or deleted, but for the life of me I can't see it ....HELP

Are you just using the Calendar app on your iPhone, or are you working with any other calendar applications? I would first check these settings on your iPhone and your computer:

My daughter has an iphone 3gs and it required an update. So i connected the iphone to itunes for the update and the iphone locked up . I had to reset the iphone back to factory settings and now the iphone will not activate , Please advise what i can do to get this working for her ?

I had to reset my computer because of a virus i had. When i re installed itunes my music was gone. I went to plug in my Iphone 5 and know my phone does not recognize the computer. I also have hit the trust button on my iphone but have to continue trusting the computer each time it gets plugged in. Still the phone wont connect to itunes at all to view what is on the phone.
