I had to restore my computer back to a prior working date. I then encountered a problem with adobe r
when I restored my computer win xp w/sp3. I had problem with Adobe Reader 9.3. it did not appear. it showed Adobe Reader 9.2, but would not open or allow update I then with some trouble installed Adobe Reader 9.3.. I tried to delete Adobe Reader 9.2, but could not do.(in add remove). I deleted in Adobe Reader 9.0\setup files Adobe Reader AC76BA86-7AD7-5464-3428-90000000004. How do I delete Adobe Reader 9.2. Do I need to delete Adobe Reader 9.2 (if possible) and Adobe Reader 9.3. To get back to working Adobe Reader do I need to reinstall AC76BA86-7AD7-5464-3428-90000000004. Or is there other steps I need to do?
All help is appreciated
I would do an uninstall of both (or at least as much of one as you can do) then run the Microsoft Installer Cleanup Utility to get rid of all instances of Reader then reinstall 9.3.

ok...so I had to restore my computer back to its original factory state:( now I have lost all my music on itunes. Can I get them back?? if so, how??
You can download everything you purchased from the iTunes Store without having to pay again:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Here is the procedure for your reference, using iTunes 10.7. The procedure and screenshots for newer versions are contained in the above link.
This assumes what you purchased is still available in the Store.
Open iTunes and click on iTunes Store on the left
On the right you will see this
Sign in with your Apple ID, then click on "Purchased" (with the orange blob)
On the summary page that appears select the tab "Not on This Computer" on the right.
On the list that appears, select what you want and then click the "Download" button. -
1/23/14 update erased a dll file and who knows what else. I had to restore my computer back several months to get the file back. I just got another update package. Is it safe to use?
Thank you. After two system restores and three program removals using the control panel I got itunes back. I would feel better if Apple would include items you don't need options in installs so that the constant checking for what is not there would not create problems. For me it was MobileMe associations. I never would have thought of Bonjour and (Quicktime - which I don't even use but did not remove just in case)
Again, Thanks!. -

Had to restore my computer and now have music on the iPad that I would like to transfer back to the computer. How do I do this? (Operating system is Windows Vista)
This depends, if the music was purchased on the iTunes store you can transfer purchases. If it was not then you would need a 3rd party program in order to rip these files to the computer.

I had to restore my computer and I lost all of my songs. How do I get them back?
I did not realize you had to back up your songs so I never did. I had to restore my computer to its orginal state. Thinking that my songs would be safe. I was wrong. How do I get them back?
You may not.
You buy one and only one download. it has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer files/docs/pics/music/etc.
Since you have failed to do this, you could transfer itunes purchases from an ipod/iphone/ipad. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases
You could try contacting itunes support and asking for an exception but they are under no obligation to allow.

I had to restore my computer to factory settings, this wiped out my itunes and I did not backup. How do I get the music (including music not purchased from itunes) back on my computer?
Assuming the music is sitting on your iPod, try Detune:

Just be careful that you don't allow the "empty" iTunes to wipe your ipod. -
I work with a Mac & I had to restore my computer for my time machine back-up. When I attempt to open/edit a photo with either camera raw or photoshop I get the following error message: Error 150:30 , it also sys that licensing for the product has stopped working?
Unfortunately when Adobe products are restored from backup, especial CS4 and especially Mac, it breaks licensing.
There is a python script included in the license recovery kit that should work if you are familiar with Terminal.
If not, you must reinstall your CS4 suite. You don't need to delete your preferences, so it should be the same as before.

I had to restore my computer(windows). All my music is on my iphone and ipod. Can I back this into itunes? When I try to sync, it wants to erase data on the ipone or ipod.
Certainly you did not restore your computer without making sure that your backup copy of your computer was up to date.
Just use your backup copy to put everything back.
The music sync is one way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases: File>Transfer Purchases -
Hi,
I had to restore my computer to factory setting. When I was finished and reinstalled itunes. None of my music showed up. Where is it and why didn't it show up when I reinstalled itunes? I even plugged in my apple shuffle and it didn't appear. This user tip should be helpful. It refers to the iPhone, but it's equally valid for iPods as well…

I had to put my computer back to when I got it how do I get my itunes library back
I had to recover my computer back to when I bought it. I need to put my ITunes library of all the music I had back into my ITunes.
I downloaded ITunes again into my computer but I need what I had in it back.
How is this done?Restore the songs from a backup, or reload them from the original source; for iTunes Store music, use these instructions to redownload them through the iCloud if doing so is free in your country.

I had to restore my computer and now my audible account won't authorize
I had to restore my computer and now my audible account will not authorize in iTunes. The audiobooks were all purchased with one of two audible accounts and neither are authorizing. Can anyone help?
Maybe you should note that Firefox and IE use different systems for bookmarks/favourites.
I am not entirely sure what you mean by
. i then just moved them around to my taste.
Presumably instead of making use of Firefox bookmarks library and its extensive features you are merely relying on folders of HTML files.
* see [[how do i use bookmarks?]] includes links to further info
Firefox uses as a working database the file ''places.sqlite'' that is kept in the Firefox [[profiles|profile]] this includes your History records and is
* not directly compatible with IE HTML format favorite files
** but Firefox Bookmarks Library has the option to import and export as HTML.<br/>(Imported HTML are appended to the library)
* Backedup automatically to Firefox bookmarks files in .JSON format
* Backed up manually by following the procedures in
** ( CARE if you import firefox .json bookmarks it overwrites the existing set, always backup first manually )

You need iTunes on the computer. There is no iTunes for your phone. See:

You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.
