i had unlimited 3g service since iphone 3g and carried over to my iphone 4. do i have to pay any extra to use personal hotspot?
Simple solution if you don't want to lose your unlimited data on your iPhone, just don't use the HotSpot feature. You could go with the Verizon iPhone, no, they charge for the HotSpot feature also.
If you really need the HotSpot feature you could shop Sprint, T-Mobile, MetroPCS, some of them either have it included or at a lower rate from what I understand.

We have had Verizon Wireless service since 2007. We have 6 lines on our account. Unfortunately in 2012 when I (903.647.0073) upgraded from the iPhone4s to the iPhone 5 I started having reception problems. I started having dropped calls in my home. I had to go outside to get reception without dropped calls. I was told that because of metal in my home I would have to purchase a Network Extender for $250. And we HAVE not metal in our home. AND our other lines all work fine. I felt this was ridiculous. We already pay $350+/month for service and I should NOT have to purchase additional equipment for a service that I already pay for. The manager of our local store at the time gave us at no cost a Samsung Network Extender. It worked beautifully until about a month ago. I went to our local Verizon store and was told that I would have to purchase an extender. THIS is RIDICULOUS. We have been loyal customers for over 7 years and have been very satisfied with our service. Unless this issue can be resolved without purchasing an extender we will be switching our service as our lines come up for renewal. I regret this as we have been very happy with our service. But we should NOT have to purchase anything extra for one line that will not get good reception. Again, we pay $350+/ month for a service that does not work properly, simply RIDICULOUS! Currently the "sys" light flashes red (slow) and the GPS light remains red. Please help this very frustrated customer.
Regardless with what carrier your with you might have the same issue, My recommendation would be to get a router that will help you with viewing live traffic and keep a tally of your usage and any device connected to your internet connection. You can go with the peplink balance 20 and be able to look at your traffic by the hour, daily, weekly, monthly or yearly. Look for trends, see what computers or devices are doing what I attached a screen shot so you can see an example of mine. You can purchase the router at 3gstore

I have an iPhone 4s that is still covered under the AppleCare Protection Plan. I have a pretty significant crack across the screen and wanted to know if I have to pay any additional fees to replace the screen or replace the entire phone.

But now that I look around on the support site, I see that it says that there are up to two incidents covered for a service fee of $49. If the issue is a result of user damage (like a cracked screen) and you have AppleCare+ Apple will replace the device for the minimal fee of $49. They will do this up to two times during the timeframe of the protection plan.
If the issue is the result of user damage and you do not have AppleCare+ then the Out of Warranty replacement cost is $199 for the 4S.
No, you were not duped, you were simply not completely informed. Whether that was a result of them not sharing all the information or you only hearing what you wanted, no one here knows. -
After my first iPhone had broken due to the home button refused to work and a smashed up screen, I took it to apple for a replacement.
After I got my new phone it worked perfectly fine until a few months later my screen broke again, so I took it to a phone shop for repairing and they had done it dodgy.
The screen wasn't in properly and it had difficulties charging, and again the screen had broken and the charging got worse, I want to take it back to apple but will I have to pay to replace again because I've already taken it to apple?You can forget about taking it back to Apple. Once a third-party touched it, you voided all warranty & support, as well as the right to an out of warranty replacement. They'll just hand it back to you.
Don't bother going to Apple, you'll just be wasting your time. -

Apple Pay potentially works anywhere in the world where an NFC payment is accepted but only if the user has a US-based billing address and their country is set to USA. -

Since updating my iPhone five to 8.0.2 Siri has begun and ended every command with "and". It has even use the word "and" as a complete text... for example if I say "Siri tell my sister I'll be there in a minute" Siri will develop a complete message simplyusing the word "and"!

I would not wait for a new tower after 7 years. Find service that works at your house or get the extender.
From a different perspective, over 10 years you paid maybe $18,000 for service. A cell tower costs $100,000 to $300,000 to build and $500 monthly fees. Not very economical to build a tower for you. -

My itunes has always worked perfectly but the other day i plugged in my iphone 5 to put on some new music and it will no longer detect my phone. The compuer does so i know its not the phone or wire it just doesnt show up in itunes. I have completely uninstalled it ans reinstalled and still no luck. Any suggestions?
