I hate the 5800 v520c0ntacts bar Home screen graph...

WHY IS THE HOMESCREEN OF MY 5800 lIKE THIS? PLS. SEE THE ATTACHMENT. IS THIS NORMAL FOR THE V52 OF 5800? PO0R GRAPHICS, EH? IF I COULD FIX THIS BY MYSELF, HOW!? PLEASE HELP. TY. ANY HELP WGLL BE SO MUCH APPRECIATED.

almost.. X6 also has a similar homescreen.. Only the background image is different.. N97 has a different homescreen though.. Other s60v5 cheaper than 5800 have the same homescreen layout..
U can checkout the nokia sites and see the other phones..
The 5800 had a different homescreen that u'l see in most advertisement on the web, etc.. This new homescreen came with the new firmware update of v40. The present version is v52.

Hi,
My 5800's shortcuts home screen suddenly stopped displaying calender items. It used to show till yesterday when I downloaded the latest nokia PC suite and tried to sync my PC with 5800 via bluetooth. I even tried to get factory seetings. But it is asking for a lock code and I have no idea what it means. Any help is more than welcome..

Ok, this is how I solved it:
Back-up (I backed up to my memory card, I back up automatically at 4 am). After I did that, transferred al pictures and videos to my pc through USB.
And a hard reset (*#7370# if I recall correct). After that I recovered what I backed-up, and that's it! It was fixed, still had my apps etc.
Not the perfect solution, but it works.

This can include bright or dark pixels, lines in video, or sections of video missing.
1. Try turning iPhone off and then on again.
2. Verify the issue is not content related, by viewing different content.
3. If the image is too dark, adjust the brightness. In General Settings choose Brightness and Wallpaper and slide the slider.
My issue is still not resolved. What do I do next?

An app will not completely download from the App Store to my iPhone 5S. Neither can I terminate the download by trying to delete it. The app is useless to me and so I would like to remove the icon from my home screen. How can I do this?

I tried to download the app "Google Translate" from the App Store onto my iPhone 5s. However, the download will not complete. As well, when I try to delete the icon from my home screen, it will not go away. I am very frustrated as this has never happened before and I have gotten many paid and free apps from the App Store. I hope someone can solve my dilemma. Thank you kindly.

What have you tried to get the app to finish downloading e.g. have you tried logging out and back into your account on your phone, disconnecting and reconnecting to your network, soft-reset of your phone (press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, ignore the red slider, after which the Apple logo should appear and it should reboot) ?
You could also try downloading the update on your computer's iTunes and see if you can sync it over to your phone (or delete the app its Apps tab when connected to your computer's iTunes and sync the new version - deleting the app will delete its contents).

Why have i got a solid red circle on the phone icon at the bottom of my home screen

I have a solid red circle on the phone icon at the bottom of my home screen.I Get a notification message come up on my home screen telling me that i have a new voicemail mesage.
When i dial into voicemail it tells me there are no messages.I Have rang my network provider(3) they did a restore on my phone using itunes on my computer(remotely)but the circle is still there.I took it to my local Apple store(Milton Keynes) when he took the sim card out with the phone still switched on it dissapeared.But when he reinserted the sim it came back. Just wondered if any one else has had this problem.Could it be the sim card?

Phoned up 3 they still had my problem on file.told me to go to my local 3 store and ask for a replacement sim.Got the sim the assistant inserted it hay presto no red dot,just waiting for the new sim to be activated.

Thanks Chris. You did help me in that I didn't think of saving to desktop and import it iPhoto. But, as I am making a book for my Father for Christmas this is a tedious task. I have also found once in a while it does not work on my desktop either. Must be a Mac thing!

The applications icons on home screen are smaller now

It sounds to me like you restored from an iCloud backup and now the applications are waiting to download. There was a great discussion on apps that are waiting to download that I’m sure will help you out too. It also includes links for resetting and restoring if necessary.
App updates won't download on my iPhone, they just say waiting.

Why did iso7.1.1 change the ability to see your apps when you use four fingers to partly close the app your in. In 7.1 you could use four fingers to partly close a app and see all the apps on that home screen. I used this all the time to check the date

Why did ISO 7.1.1 change the feature where you could use four fingers to close an app and see if he other apps on your home screen as you were closing an app. This was the handiest feature I thought because I could partially close the app I was working in and see the date or other things on my home screen and then released the four finger position and be right back to the app I'm working in. Please change this in the next update back to the way it was!!!!!

NEW Iphone os 4: Why is the photo on my home screen a special effect?

My home screen photo is a special effect (x-ray). The problem is actually much bigger..The original set of photos downloaded into my new iphone os4 are ALL special effects! What happened? All the original photos in iphot 09 albums before download are NOT edited with special effects. I tried removing an App called Mega Camera which I thought might be the culprit. I still have the free PS Express installed........ then I restored the phone to original settings. When I downloaded chosen photos after the restore every one looks like a special effect was applied. I am out of solutions . PLEASE HELP. OH BTW the new photos I take with the camera on the phone are also a special effect.

I hate the narrow scroll bars in Lion. How to adjust?

I recently upgraded to Lion, which all seems realtively nice and well designed to me. In years of Apple developments, I have learned to appreciate the changes and gradually have come to appreciate most of the stuff they come up with. One thing really annoys me seriously, though, and that is the very narrow scroll bars! When I could easily find the scroll bar in 10.5, an 6. I now have to waste my energy on pointing the mouse at the very narrow scroll bar. Who the **** had the great idea to narrow it? There is NO WAY I can live with this.
Has anyone come up with a fix? If this is not fixable, I will downgrade to 10.6 again.

When I select one of my bookmark sites, it opens is a tiny sidebar on the left of my home screen tab. It has been opening in a new tab with full view of the site I had bookmarked.

My home page is MSN. From the menu I select bookmarks, choose the one I want, and it opens, but only in a tiny sidebar to the left, on the MSN home page. It just started doing it. It has been opening in full view to the bookmark page.

Right-click that bookmark and select '''Properties''', then un-check the preference for '''Load this bookmark in the sidebar''', and then click Save.
Using JavaScript buttons on web pages for "Bookmark this Page" causes that preference to be selected when saving the bookmark in that manner. So, don't use those buttons, use the "Bookmark this Page" feature that is built into Firefox instead.
