I hate to trouble you good people again, but...
OK, so I was working on my project, everything was going fine. I don't know what I did, but suddenely the timeline frame disappeared. (I have the Timeline and the Program frames on Monitor 2, the rest of the program on Monitor 1.)
So I clicked on Window and re-checked the Timeline selection. The timeline came back, but without the edits I had already made. In fact, it's more accurate to say that the timeline frame came back, but it doesn't even contain a blank timeline, just a couple of empty boxes.
Resetting the workspace didn't work this time. Restarting the progam didn't work this time. Rebooting the computer didn't work either.
It seems to be only with this project. If I open a new project, all the timeline components are there. If I open a previously saved project, it all comes up all right. It's only this specific project, which I've already invested quite a bit of time, and I hope I don't have to start all over.
Any thoughts?
Oh. Ok. Yeah, that worked.
Maybe someday I'll have a problem that is not quite as trivial as the ones I have been presenting to you.

Since you don’t allow emails any more – I suspect because of the numerous complaints with your service and the way you treat people that you don’t want documented, I am calling and I want this call recorded for future reference.
I have been a long time faithful customer of vzw and although the past year I have been late on payments many times and really couldn’t afford your exorbitant prices for services lots of other companies offer sometimes three times cheaper than what you charge, I have hung in there trying my best to meet my obligations.
This month has been no exception. You don’t know the background; the whole story of people’s lives. I know you could care less because all you care about is the profit-the money that comes in.
I was told when I agreed to pay my bill on the third per the recorded message that I had 14 days to pay…you cut me off anyway. The phones are not the tissue; your suspending my service means I cannot work. I may lose my job…how do you justify that? In any case? The least you could do would be to keep 4986 on and cut the phones off. But no. You refuse to compromise and meet the basic needs of your customer. What does that say about your company? I tried to call back on three separate occasions to tell you I couldn’t pay because of unexpected expenses but couldn’t get out of the automated system…sadly couldn’t get to a real person which also speaks volumes to me.
All this tells me this is a company I don’t wish to be affiliated with any more. As soon as I can, I will discontinue service with you…I know you could care less. I will honor the remaining portion of the contract but that’s it. You don’t deserve my business. I am a good, hardworking person who, at the sacrifice of myself and my needs, always pays her bills…albeit late at times. I realize others tell you stories and lies to justify themselves. That’s not me. If you knew what I had been through the last 7 yrs you would marvel that I am still on my feet…don’t judge too quickly. You could be wrong…and in my eyes you are by doing this to me.
God will see us through this extremely scary time of that I have no doubt. No thanks to your company and lack of understanding and mercy. I am doing the best I can. Sadly you are not.
See I have choices. MANY choices of providers for services you offer. I don’t have to be treated like this. I don’t have to succumb to your coldness and callousness. I intend to choose better (and cheaper). If your company doesn’t get the “people factor” back you will be sorry.Problem here is you admit you cannot afford the service.
And you want to blame Verizon for losing a job because you have no cell phone.
If your job depends on that phone I would pay it on time every time if you need a job to pay your bill.
No other service is going to treat you any different. And if you cannot afford Verizon's monthly invoice how are you going to afford new devices, activation fees, possible security deposits on any other cellular carrier? You can't.
Also if you made an arraignment to pay and then decide you cannot do so, why should Verizon extend you service or credit, or why is it you want to use the service and data and not pay for it as agreed.
Get a prepay phone. Its evident the cost is too high for you to afford on post pay.

My ipod touch 4g just updates today on itunes and the update caused more trouble than good for me. My ipod will no longer show me the battery percentage in the top right hand corner and I am not allowed to drag other applications to the bottom panel. Also my itunes doesn't allow "enable disk use" anymore. Can anyone help? My ipod now says that it's the 4.3.4 version

Your download page for 5.0 stated: All of the App Tabs you have set when you close Firefox will open as App Tabs when you start Firefox again.
I liked the convenience of using App Tabs and was disappointed to find that the ones I had set up yesterday were gone today. Am I doing something wrong?Works fine for me, I can simulate your problem by improperly closing Firefox.
The correct way would be to close the windows you don't want and then to exit Firefox through the File ("'''Alt+F'''") menu then use '''Exit''' or '''Qui'''t depending on your system.
But '''I can simulate your problem''' by closing the good window with "X" in the upper right-corner first (the one with the app-tabs) and then close the other window by any means.
You restart Firefox and open a window, since you closed without app-tabs there are none so you just see a window with your home page.
Firefox has some things added to Firefox 4 and therefore in Firefox 5.

I am getting this error message “Error communicating with Adobe.com (Error 107). Restart Adobe Download Assistant and try to add the product again.” Fix it please. You are causing me a big inconvenience.

With the recent bump to 1TB and the need for a new wireless router I'm considering a TC but boy, the experiences seem to be all over the place. I know this is a forum for people trying to iron out problems but if you currently own a TC, would you buy one again? Would you recommend to other mac users?
I may not go the wireless Time Machine route given some of the problems I've heard and my experience with Time Machine on my work iMac. May use SuperDuper instead or equivalent.Without a doubt I'd buy one again. I have one and my mother bought one. Not a problem between us (over a year +). As you correctly said this is a place where people come to help solve problems so you will see a higher rate of no responses.
I have a dual band Time Capsule and the network is much stronger than my old Linsys router. No backup problems but I did the first one via Ethernet.
When I bought a new iMac I was able to use the Time Machine backup to transfer all my files and preference from my old mac mini. Took about 40 minutes. How can you beat that? -

I just switched to Lion from SL, and am regretting it deeply, is there anyway to switch back to SL but still keep lion on your hard drive until you want it again?

To resize the drive do the following:
1. Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
After the main menu appears select Disk Utility and click on the Continue button. Select the hard drive's main entry then click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
2. You should see the graphical sizing window showing the existing partitions. A portion may appear as a blue rectangle representing the used space on a partition.
3. In the lower right corner of the sizing rectangle for each partition is a resizing gadget. Select it with the mouse and move the bottom of the rectangle upwards until you have reduced the existing partition enough to create the desired new volume's size. The space below the resized partition will appear gray. Click on the Apply button and wait until the process has completed. (Note: You can only make a partition smaller in order to create new free space.)
4. Click on the [+] button below the sizing window to add a new partition in the gray space you freed up. Give the new volume a name, if you wish, then click on the Apply button. Wait until the process has completed.
You should now have a new volume on the drive.
It would be wise to have a backup of your current system as resizing is not necessarily free of risk for data loss. Your drive must have sufficient contiguous free space for this process to work.
Install Snow Leopard on the new partition:
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. Proceed with reinstalling OS X. Be sure to choose your new partition as the target destination.
Download and install the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1 update. Any additional updates can be installed using Software Update. -

My iPod Nano 7th Generation couldn't be detected by iTunes when I plugged in. I tried resolving the issue by uninstalling the iTunes and then install it back again but yet still the same problem exist. Can you please help me to solve this issue? I have already updated to the latest version of iTunes on my Windows 8 and I cannot synchronize my iPod for the time being. Please do help me to solve this problem. Thank You.

Regardless, it is not a matter of carrier locking. Verizon iPhone 5 phones were never GSM sim-locked to begin with. Every iPhone Verizon has sold since the introduction of the iPhone 5 has been sold with an unlocked GSM slot, as required in the USA by their agreement with the FCC. They have not been allowed to sell any iPhone 5, iPhone 5c nor iPhone 5s devices with GSM carrier locking in place.
Your connection problems are from some other cause - it is NOT a carrier locking issue.
