I have 10.3.9 and I need to upgrade to 10.4!!

Hello mac peoples, i got an old mac mini and a power book, and i just purchased some dj equipment (numark stealth control) and all the available dj software requires 10.4 at the least, is there anyone that can possibly provide me with some help/advise as to what to do, so many people tell me you can update of the updater, but the website now says that you can no longer update the software in this manner....PLEASE HELP, I'VE SPENT ALOT OF MONEY ON THIS EQUIPMENT AND ITS USELESS TO ME RIGHT NOW

To get 10.4 you have to buy it. You can only use updaters to update from one sub-version of the software to another, such as 10.4.6 to 10.4.11, not 10.3 to 10.4
Tiger is difficult to find and still fetches a premium price, sometimes as much as or more than new used to cost. Expect $60 if you get very, very lucky, or more around $130 or up.
Make sure you get the retail version discs, not the machine specific gray colored ones that will only install on the computer with which they were originally supplied.

Back up your music and install from the website. You probably won't need to do this, but if your library is erased, restore it from the backup.

There are a number of ways to delete pictures from the Camera Roll. One is to open Camera Roll in the thumbnail view, tap the arrow button (top right), tap all the pictures you want to delete, tap the Delete button ant the bottom. Photo Library pictures are deleted by unchecking Sync Photos on the Photos tab of your iTunes sync settings, followed by syncing your phone.

Notes:
iOS 4.2 is the latest version of iOS for iPod touch (2nd generation).

There's no way to merge them yet, so all you can do now is make 1 of them the master ID for iCloud. You have to continue to use the other for previous iTunes, Mac App Store updates. Have you read:

Instead of getting a wireless card for the Mac Pro, you might want to consider getting an 802.11ac wireless bridge device that would enable you to connect more than one device to it by Ethernet cable and to eventually take advantage of the faster 802.11ac wireless standard.

In testing 9 and X, "Compare Docs" we have a critical issue and really need help!

For years we have used Acrobat 7 to do PDF compares and we love it! However, the company recently advised we must upgrade to 9 and then eventually to X. In testing 9 and X, Compare Docs we have a critical issue and really need help. Our PDFs are produced by IT in a batch process and one of our main, critical functions is to compare previous PDFs to current PDFs; however, in using 9 the Compare screen automatically sets the Doc Description for our PDFs to "Scanned Doc" and does not produce any differences! If you try to change the setting to Reports --it totally shuts down both documents without running! Version 7 runs the compare of the same PDFs beautifully, pointing out all the differences, as usual! Has this every happen to anyone? Do you know what we can do to our PDFs to allow version 9 to do the compare and produce results? Why is 9 treating these non-scanned PDF docs as such? Thanks so much for any help or insight you can give me on this issue!

So, if that is your iPod model, and you have a computer with a FireWire port, which even the current Macs do not have anymore, the cables are commonly available. However, the one to get depends on the type of FireWire port you have on the computer. The two likely types are 6-pin (older FireWire 400) and 9-pin (newer FireWire 800). Your iPod has the 6-pin (400) port.

If your computer has 9-pin (800), you need a 6-pin (400) to 9-pin (800) cable. If it has 6-pin (400) that looks like the port on the iPod, then you need 6-pin to 6-pin.
