For using FTP function in LabVIEW, I recommend you to check this document: FTP Basics
Also, take a look at FTP Browser.vi, which is available at the Example Finder.
To edit a XML file, try to use VIs in XML palette. Maybe Write to XML.vi helps you.

The only "content aware" feature in CS5 is the fill, so you are not missing anything with the updates because nothing more is there. And I honestly don't know what you mean by "Adobe watermarks" there is no such thing, but there is a series of scripts for such stuff.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Your best method would be to connect via USB and transfer that way, since videos are not transferred using photostream.
However you can stop photos on your mac being added to photostream in the iPhoto preferences > photostream by unchecking the automatic upload box.

You can use iCloud to share the Calendar, that way she will always be up to date on that particular section of your work calendar. If you want to use iCloud, I would recommend backing up so you have a safe copy of your data.

Yes you can! It is a Basic level site but you can build it without Muse. I think you may need to create the site originally with Dreamweaver or Muse (meaning creating the site with Business Catalyst not building the site) but once that is done you can use any software to create the code for the site and upload it via SFTP. Hope that makes sense.

You can't import MPEG-2 files directly to FCP X.
Can you play this file in Quicktime Player? If so, then you can use the free program MPEG Streamclip to convert this to Quicktime. Use the ProRes codec.

This is actually not true; I support users who are doing this w/ Excel 2011 (v14.2.2+) for Mac and Windows users w/ Excel 2003 & 2007. Win users are from finance dept, and who have pasword-protected various budget files. The Mac users are (surprise) "creative" users, who enter pw to unlock and edit these budget files.
These files are shared from a Mac server (running 10.6.8 server), and I do have an erratic problem where all users have read-only access to these pw-protected Excel files. The manual work-around has been to copy the troublesome file(s) and confirm users have full access again. I also do a shuffling of filenames, so that the new, working file has original file name.
FYI: the Mac server POSIX and ACL permissions are correct, and don't appear to be source of the problem.
It's easy an SMB file-locking issue or concurrent users trying to edit these files. I keep reminding them that Excel is not a database!

Are you sure you haven't upgraded Pages on your Mac to Pages 5?
Check your Applications folder and the Applications/iWork folder. You may have 2 versions on your Mac.

I am conceptualizing a project at the moment and I am thinking of using Adobe AIR to develop the application related to that project.
But it depends on the ability of AIR to fulfill my project requirements.
I want your ideas, please...
Imagine, I finished developing my application and compiled the distributed version using Adobe AIR.
And I am going to distribute the installation files of the intended application by burning on to a CD.
Imagine, the user who got that CD, installed it it on his computer and launched the application.
When the application is running, it needs to load a XML file which is saved in our company server.
Since it is an important data file I don't want to dispatch it with the installation CD.
So I am thinking of using URLRequest and URLLoader classes to load this XML file from server dynamically.
Lets imagine I did codes like this....

Adobe InDesign CS2 - Why does the resolution change when I import a PDF file to InDesgin

When I import a PDF file to InDesgin the resolution from the PDF changes.

InDesign uses a low resolution thumbnail (might be the wrong way to descirbe, but easiest to visualise) to represent images/files placed into indesign. As InDesign is a page layout program it enhances the speed of the application as it doesn't have to draw the images in full detail, but rather just represent them in their size and position in the layout.
There are 3 viewing settings, available through the View> Display Performance (for the whole document) or Object>Display performance (on an object by object basis).
The resolution of the image from that point on relies on whether it was Vector or Raster, or in PDF and EPS cases, vector and raster. As already mentioned Vectors and PDFs don't contain a resolution. Vectors are mathematical equations that require the device outputting the image to draw them to the best of their abiltiy.
PDFs are a wrapper for a file, it can wrap text, vectors and raster for output.
But all the same, InDesign uses lo-res thumbnails to represent the PDF/Image/Object until ready to output. But you need to adjust the Display Performance.

How to identify the original source folder of files in the trash?

I am trying to help a friend who trashed a massive amount of files. Dragging files out of the trash to where they originated from works when one knows where files in the trash came from. What I need to know is how to find out which folder the files originated from. Pictures from iPhoto library, easy ... but there are others that are a mystery.
Any help is appreciated.

The only way anyone here could possibly tell where files came from would first have a list of the files with the exact file names. The files themselves don’t carry information of any previous paths, that I know of.
With the photos, as you said, easy. If they are applications, again, easy, Applications folder. But if they are System files, those can be scattered all over.
You said it is a massive number of files, so unless the vast majority are photos or applications, it would probably not be practical to make a list.

If you are using DBMS_SCHEDULER, I would expect that you would just invoke export directly. I'm not sure I see the benefit to putting a Perl wrapper on top in that case. Of course, DBMS_SCHEDULER could invoke a Perl script just as it can invoke a shell script if there was some particular need to have a Perl layer there.
Of course, I assume that you're not trying to invoke export on a regular basis as your primary backup method... Exports should be a complement, not a supplement, to a proper physical backup (i.e. via RMAN).
