I'm having problems with itunes after updating. I've lost all my playlists,,finally played around with it and got the songs back but some have an exclamation point beside them and can't be located. they are songs i've purchased. I'm not very computer literate so this is a major problem. I have spent hours with this. I just want all my songs to play even though I'm not happy that I have to recreate my playlists. It would be so much easier if I knew and understood how to correct this. Has anyone else had this problem and if so..is there an easy way to correct it?

Sometimes it is fruitless to try to "fix" a broken account on an iOS device. I would delete the account on both devices and then configure the account again from scratch.

Please let me know what might be the issue. Why is it asking me to connect to iTunes? How will I be able to restore the iPad to a working condition.
Thanks in advance.It means that the iPad has gone into recovery mode (all software has bugs, operating system updates don't always go smoothly). You will need to connect the iPad to your computer's iTunes by its cable, and that should recognise the iPad and let you reset it back to factory defaults - you can then restore to you backup, or just resent your content to it.

Restart your computer
While your computer is restarting, clear all of the applications from the background on your iPhone. You can do this by pushing the home button twice and swiping the programs off the screen by pushing them upwards.
After you are done doing that, restart your phone.
Wait about 10 seconds or so and turn your phone back on. By the time you get your phone back on your computer should be completly restarted and ready to go.
When your phone is back on, plug it into your computer. This should automatically bring up your Itunes, you may get another pop up that says autoplay, you can close that out. That's it. I hope it helps and good luck -

Define storage. Disk, Random Access memory or a combination. Installing software consumes some disk space but does not disable or remove RAM.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

I have windows 7 and after updating Itunes to the latest version, I get this error message...

I have tried repairing and reinstalling even deledted Itunes and did a re-install but keep getting the same error message.
what can I do to fix this error?Taken at face value, you're having trouble with an Apple Application Support program file there. (Apple Application Support is where single copies of program files used by multiple different Apple programs are kept.)
Let's try something relatively simple first. Restart the PC. If you're using Vista or 7, now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "Apple Application Support" and then click "Repair". If you're using XP, head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "Apple Application Support", click "Change" and then click "Repair".
If no joy after that, try the more rigorous uninstall/reinstall procedure from the following post. (If you've got XP, although the procedure is for Vista and 7, just read "Computer" as "My Computer", read "Uninstall a program control panel" as "Add or Remove programs control panel" and assume the system is 32-bit, and you'll be doing the right things.)
