I have 2 Apple ID's and one is disabled, it's not letting me update my password.

I have a problem and it's making me lose my mind. I have 2 Apple ID's and one is disabled. So I have like 7 apps to update and I typed in another password for my old Apple ID. When I typed it in, I knew it was disabled but it wasn't associated with my iPhone. Then it says that my Apple ID is disabled and I started to research and nothing is related. This is my only thing, please help me it's making me really mad and tired of it.

You can also delete the apps associated with the disabled ID and redownload
those apps with your valid ID. If they are paid for apps. you will have to purchase
them again. Game progress and other in-app data or purchases will be lost.

With iOS 4, the only way to update your software is connected to iTunes. OTA (over the air) updates were not available until iOS 5. You will need to connect your iPhone to a computer and use iTunes to download and install the iOS updates on your iPhone (at least until your iOS version is 5.0 or higher).

I've moved and now the itunes store will not let me update my account to match the bank records. It gives me the error "Your credit card information does not match your bank records." when in fact it does.

If you are getting a message stating that you are not verified. Then you might have not received the iTunes Store verification email. You will need to contact iTunes Customer Support. They will be able to verify your store account. Then you will be able to sync your iPod Touch while signed into your store account. Your iPod Touch should allow you to purchase your Apps from that point on.

Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network settings.
Then turn your iPad off, or set it to AIrplane Mode. Turn WiFi back on, and hopefully you'll find your network and be able to input the password.

There is no reason that a brand new phone should be having problems. I would say return it for a new one because it's less then a week old or return it. It's unacceptable. I have been having software issues with my iPhone 3GS too. I feel that Apple did a half done job on the software and really failed to bring new features to their third gen. iPhone.

I HAD two accounts because of this problem. I completely removed the problem account from the Apple Mail client. Guess what is happening?? That's right - Mail is still sending from the other account that no longer exists on my computer, and I have absolutely no idea how this is happening. This is incredibly frustrating. All content and data is forever associated with the Apple ID you used to download it. You should have reset the password for the original I'd.

You can't merge Apple IDs. What you could do is set up your phone to use the same iCloud accout you are using on your Mac. To do this, go to Settings>iCloud and turn all synced data (Contacts, Calendars, etc.) to Off. When prompted, choose to keep the data on the phone. When everything is off, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. Now add the iCloud account you set up on your Mac (with the same Apple ID) and turn syncing back on for Calendars, Contacts, etc. When prompted, you will probably want to choose merge, to merge the data on your phone with the existing data on this iCloud account.

The problem is that all services are bundled with your Apple ID ([email protected]):
Your iCloud account (Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, Notes, Backups, etc.),
also iTunes & App Store purchases (Music, Movies, TV Shows, etc.),
and the iTunes Match services.
(I guess that all your devices - yours and your wife's are connected to one iTunes library, right?)
If you want that your wife gets her own iCloud account for Mail, Contacts, Calendars, etc. but gets also access to your media then you have two set up two things on her device:
iCloud (Settings > iCloud) with her account (e.g. [email protected])
and
iTunes & App Stores (Settings > iTunes & App Stores) with your account (e.g. [email protected]).
In this case she gets access to your library and could use the same iTunes Match account.

After calling AT&T tech support one more time, and explaining to them that the glitch was on their network, they admitted that the problem was at their tower...
I continued to use the phone on EDGE mode for two more days until the problem was fixed.
I even got a call back from a tech support guy asking me if my phone was working properly....
I wish they would have admitted to the problem before I sat at the apple store for 2 hours.

Sometimes you have to reset the SMC two or three times for it to work, don't know why. I've seen that error message before and 100% of the time it was fixed with an SMC reset. I suppose it's possible that your keyboard or mouse IS drawing too much power, do you have access to another you could try?
