As far as trying to power up your device, make sure it has a good charge and then hold the button on the top of the phone and the home button on the faceplate together until the apple appears on the screen.

In addition to what Larry said, the Adobe team are working on the Live Rectangle bug which is limited to the MAC versions starting with 10.7 and 10.8, but not 10.9 (Mavericks).
So a switch to Mavericks with a reinstallation might be the way to solve it here and now, if that is an option, in which case you should reinstall after upgrading the OS.
But you may get round it in a couple of ways while using your present OS.
In each case, it is possible to Expand the Live Rectangles to get normal old fashioned rectangles, or to Pathfinder>Unite, or to use the Scale Tool.
A more permanent way round that is to create normal old fashioned rectangles, after running the free script created by Pawel, see this thread with download link:

.swf file won't play on any in house computer except the one it was rendered on
So, I work in a company that does some animation. I handle the website and uploading our stuff to it. The animator upstairs makes the stuff. He rendered out the file as a .swf, a html and a flv. He says he did it the same as he always does it, which is fairly often and he is definitely competent. The file plays in the browser on his computer (a mac).
He transfered the file to several of us to test where the problem is. On mine (mac), two coworkers (also macs), and a pc the files do nothing when opened in a browser, blank white screen. The icons for the files are also just a blank page. We can all play the other .swf files from the website, both on the site and downloaded to our comps.
Flash player has been updated on them all. He has re-rendered them with different file names. We are transferring them over our network.
We need to get this animation on the web and I have no idea whats up with these files. Anyone got any ideas?upload the embedding html and the swf and loaded files to a server and post the url.

Apple IDs cannot be merged. You should use your preferred Apple ID from now on, but you can still access your purchased items such as music, movies, or software using your other Apple IDs. -

Did you change the ID you are using for iCoud? If so, did you delete the account, then sign back in with your new ID on your device?

Because of a nasty virus on my computer I had to change my apple ID and password. When I went to update my apps. on my I phone 4s the box said I need to sign in to I tunes. Thank you for the help. Every app on my phone was downloaded using my old I-tunes ID. I just hope that they will re-download under my new ID because I still can't change it on my phone. In order to change to the new ID it says I have to sign out from the old ID and change to the new one. My problem is that I don't remember my password to be able to sign out from my old ID. Then the phone says it can change my password through e-mail and I agree but I never get an e-mail at my old address or the new one.

Just launch the application, find and select the domain file in your Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder that you want to open and it will open with iWeb. It modifies the iWeb preference file each time it's launched so one can switch between domain files.
WARNING: iWeb Switch Domain will overwrite an existing Domain.sites2 file if you select to create a new domain in the same folder. So rename your domain files once they've been created to something other than the default name.

I have the iPhone 5 and with the new sofware update it added a passcode lock. Same for the iPad. I removed the passcode lock from my iPhone and now I can access my iPad. It is still asking for the four digit passcode. I tried using the one that was orgingally programed and it disables it every time. How can I get past this? I have tried to do a restore and it still takes me back to the lock screen. Please help!

Content is forever tied to the Apple ID that bought it. Apple does not transfer content from one Apple ID to another. Apple does not merge Apple IDs. You will never be able to access your content bought with one Apple ID with a new Apple ID. -

It's beta. It's no where near ready for prime time. It's put out there so that developers can start getting their products ready fo the new release.

People have gotten the wrong idea about what a beta is thanks to the likes of google, who release a product to market and call it "beta" just so they don't actually have to support it. I've beta tested operating systems going all the way back to OS/2 when it was still a joint Microsoft/IBM project. Believe me, you do NOT want beta versions of operating systems getting into the hands of the unwashed masses. It would quickly turn from 'getting rid of bugs' to outright revolt. -

You are getting this message because you are attempting to create an iCloud account on a PC. You can only create iCloud account on an iOS device (iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch) running iOS 5 or higher, or on a Mac running OS X Lion (10.7.2) or higher. After creating your account on one of these devices you will then be able to sign into the account on your PC.
