I have 2 gmail accounts - one synchronises, one is grey, showing no data entry and a date 01.01.70 - any ideas how to fix it? (iphone5 /ioS /)
I have 2 gmail accounts on my iphone 5 with IOS 7 - a private and a business account. Both are set up exactly the same way, just the username and the password are different. One account synchronizes as usual via mail app, the other account seems to do the same thing as well but after synchrinizing this account is highlighted grey for a while. When I go to "all mails" I see tons of mails dated 01.01.1970 with no sender or content. After a few minutes I can use the account in a normal way again and all the " no sender " mails vanished. How can I fix the problem?

For me the same problem: 2 gmail accounts, one ore both have often the folder greyed out. After a reset by holding down both buttons it works for a few minutes then the problem is there again.
Also the same problem with the no subject 01.01.1970 emails (this was also there in previos IOS and never been solved!).
I have a 4S with IOS7.
For now my only solution is to switch to Mailbox.

I have restarted holding gown the sleep button and done a hard restart using the home and sleep at the same time. I reset all my settings. My screen continuously switches from different apps and screens. In text it randomly selects letters. This happened once a few weeks ago but only lasted a couple hours. You need to restore using iTunes you last sync with.

In my email all the messages from one person bunch together and I would like to separate them. I have done this before on my iPhone but just recently got an iPad and its doing it on this, so does anyone have any ideas how to fix this issue?
Settings >> Mail, Contacts. Calendars >> Organise by Thread. Switch to OFF to see every individual email in the Inbox.

I updated to the latest iOS and now YouTube and the Ap store are no longer on my phone. Also, not all my music will play and if I play a song it will actually play a different song while displaying the one I chose. Any ideas how to fix this?
You have to download the individual youtube app now. It is no longer a nataive ios app from apple in ios6

I followed the instructions given to turn my automatic download icon in my iphone 3 and still goes back to off position. Any idea how to fix this issue without getting a new one?
Something may have gone amiss on your iPhone.
To attempt to correct this follow these steps:
Backup your iPhone using iTunes or iCloud.
Use iTunes to completely restore your iPhone as Factory new.
Monitor battery usage to see if it is normal. If not, you may have a hardware problem - if so, contact Apple support.
Restore your iPhone from your backup above.
Check battery usage to confirm that it is still normal. -

I cant update my software. It downloads updates , then says, 'an error has occurred and updates have not been installed'. I am now behind 6 months on updates. Any idea how to fix this?
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

Several days ago some of the links in my Apple Mail messages stopped working. Specifically, the links going to some variation of "response beacon" don't work. All I see is a blank screen. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

* "Remove the Cookies" from sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

All my photos are importing out of order. For example, if I have images 1,2,3, and 4.., the order they show up in is 2,1,4,3. What could cause this and any ideas how I fix it?
One thing, don;t think of them as being imported in any one particular order.
The order of the images is completely fluid, you can change it anytime you want to suit your needs at that particular moment.
As Léonie showed you select the order you want to see the images in by selecting the item you want to sort on in the pull-down.
The only time fluid sort order can be a problem is when you export groups of images. If you put the images into a particular order in Aperture when you export them and view them in the Finder the order they are in may very well be different. In this case you could give names to the images that include a sequence number or index.
Then when they are viewd in the Finder they will be in them same order they were in in Aperture.

So, as discussed the main issues are:
1) The TOC doesn't generate all the listings (only those with the applied paragraph style "Heading 1 - Appendix")
2) When I try to create a new pargraph style and apply it to existing or new text, it reads the pargraph style in the Paragraph Style menu, but the style doesn't actually apply.
Hopefully you can figure something out from this. I really appreciate your help.

Did you delete all receipts with iDVD in the file name with either a .PKG or .BOM extension that reside in the HD/Library/Receipts folder and from the /var/db/receipts/ folder before installing the new copy? If not then do so and delete the new application also.
