I have 2 iCloud accts. One is old iTunes acct, the other is a MobileMe acct. I bought extra space and iTunes Match on the iCloud acct using my original iTunes ID. Now my phone will not let me turn on iTunes match cuz it defaults to the MobileMe iCloud ID.

My default icloud acct on my Mac is the original ID, but for some reason my contacts are sync'd to the MobileMe ID, and when I try to turn Itunes Match 'on' my Iphone, it defaults to the MobileMe acct, but my Itunes Match is purchased on the original apple ID. Help!

From what you're describing appears to be Activation Lock, a security measure provided by Apple that makes it harder for people to use a lost or stolen device. You will need to enter the password for the Apple ID the device is prompting you for.

Go to the Home screen and double click the Home button. That will reveal the row of recently used apps at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold on the app in question until it jiggles and displays a minus sign. Tap the minus sign to actually quit the app. Then tap anywhere on the screen above that bottom row to return the screen to normal. Then restart the app and see if it works normally.

Hi, I have connected my iPhone 5 to iTunes, backed it up and then started the update but there was a problem, now my phone will not work, it asks to restore factory settings which I have tried 3 times, each time it says the device has an unknown error and the phone switches off. Please help.
Same thing happened with my iPhone 4S - no one is any help. Thanks Apple for such a crappy update! I've called Apple, they say the SIM card needs replacing, I go to my service provider they tell me nothing wrong with the SIM card - provider tells me I now need a new phone. Sheesh! If someone has a solution to this it would be greatly appreciated.

AFter installing Yosemite and enabling Firevault my machine has become so slow it is unusable whilst encrypting is in progress.
It will not let me turn it off.
THe estimated time remaining has never revealed itself ... it has been encrypting now for 4 days and the guider has not moved from its one quarter position.

I have removed the power save options and keep the computer on all the time now with the Firevault screen visible .. nothing speeds it up.
I regret enabling Firevault .. but it is so unforgiving for the uninformed ... like me.Back up all data before proceeding. There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.
Start up in Recovery mode. When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select Disk Utility. In the Disk Utility window, select the icon of the startup volume from the list on the left. Then, from the menu bar, select
File ▹ Turn Off Encryption
Enter the login password of a user authorized to unlock the volume, or the alternate decryption key that was generated when you activated FileVault.
You can then restart as usual, if the system is working. Decryption will be completed in the background. It may take several hours, and during that time performance will be reduced. -

In iTunes, do Store->View my AppleID
Click "Deuthorize ALL"
Then, on any computers you still have, do Store->Authorize this computer. If there are less than 5, you will have no problem.
You can only do "deauthorize all" once a year, so in the future, if you ever throw a computer away, remember do to "Store->Deauthorize this computer" first. -

As stated above - purchasing more space in iCloud has nothing to do with this. You do not have enough space left on the iPad for the movie to download, you need to delete content on the device itself.
You may want to transfer purchases to iTunes and then delete some content on the device to make room.
