And to save yourself some time, copy the installer to a USB drive before using it on the first computer. Then you won't have to wait for the long download on the second one, only the install time itself.

You don't have to buy the new version and you aren't forced to apply the updater 9.1

If you have iWork 09, then the latest version should be available for free in the Mac App Store. If you have the new version on your iPad, then you'll need the new version on your Mac as well. The whole point of the latest version is that you can access and edit your files equally on iPad/iPhone, Mac, and also through the iCloud website.

Hi everyone. I both a Mac Pro 15" in March 2009. Five month ago I was forced to buy by one new hard drive and extent the memory, because I had to make the upgrade (and pay) to install the new Lion operation system. Four days ago the Mother-board fails. To change it will cost a fortune. What should I do or expect from Apple to solve this problem? I am very disappointed because my trust on Apple was destroyed.
I am not sure why you are upset with Apple. Electronics equipment does fail. If the product is out of warranty or you do not have AppleCare there's not much you can do with Apple. Apple will charge you for the repair. Suggest you look for a third party repair store since they are usually less expensive than Apple. Alternatively you can buy one for about $850US and install it yourself. Sorry, but there aren't many choices in this situation.

you have the purchased (not subscription) version of lr 6 (as an upgrade to lr5).
if all that is correct, then when you start your lr 6 installation you will be prompted for the lr 6 serial number. if lr 5 is not installed you will then be prompted for your lr 5 serial number.
if you enter the correct number at the correct time, installation should proceed. -

You don't buy it, it's free for 5GB, but you can buy more storage if needed (most users don't need it). And if each device is set up to use the same icloud account, then they all share it.

Hope that makes sense?You can redownload the Lion installer via the App Store for every Mac you own. You can also save a copy of the Lion installer by following these instructions. Note that the Lion installer deletes itself after installation, so copy the installer before you install Lion on your main machine.

Do I need to buy Keynote app for both iPad and Macbook Pro?
Thus far, I use email to forward my Powerpoint from work (where I use a PC) to home (where I use a Macbook Pro). This results in my occasionally having various forms of my presentations out there and I sometimes get confused as to which is the most current.
Using Keynote to "store" my presentations on the cloud when I'm not editing them would be great. I guess I'm just wondering if I have to buy the app for my Macbook Pro AND buy it for my iPad, or would buying it for one device put it on all of my apple devices (including iPhone)?

The app you got only works with iPhones, iPods touch and iPads, but not with Macs. That's because Macs use a different operating system that requires different applications, so you have to purchase the application for the Mac
