I have 2 POP accounts and 2 IMAP accounts in Mail.....

I have 2 POP accounts and 2 IMAP accounts in Mail 6.2 (1499), how do I ensure they all leave messages on the server?
I was trying to check with my ISP why they were not sending me notice of my monthly bill. They said they were, and gave me the dates of when the missing ones were sent. They went to check my inbox so that they could re-send the offending messages and said there were no messages there! Hence my question, How do I make sure that messages are left on the server? I have looked in Mail/Preferences, and certainly in the POP accounts the Remove copy from Server is unchecked, on the IMAP accounts, there doesn't appear to be a means of leaving on the server, which, in essence, shouldn't worry me because they are different ISP addresses, (1 = icloud and the other is BT.) and only the one address of the POP account is the one the ISP is sending messages to me.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I have, indeed, checked with my ISP and they do accept imap accounts. So I followed religiously their instructions, published in their setting e mail information for Mountain Lion website. The instructions were quite simple, and choosing imap was as easy as setting POP mail. however, the net result was that I could never connect with the servers to do anything with the mail. I know they are set up correctly, but when it tried to send mail, after a while an error message came up saying that it couldn't connect and gave me the option of dealing with a "connection doctor" or some such system. This I clicked on and noted that there were an awful lot of servers that it was trying to connect to some of which had been removed when I removed the setup addresses. The ones I wanted were, in fact, showing as connected!! It was obviously checking on anything that had been used in setting a server name from way back when and suffering with a severe bout of indigestion!
I think what really needs to happen is to get iMAC/Mountain Lion to regurgitate all that rubbish which is no longer a requirement, since I am only using three addresses, one from icloud and two from my ISP. I do not need the clogging up from redundant server names, but it seems that the MAC hangs on to everything just in case I may want to go back to them rather than set them from afresh!! I am not feeling too confident in trying to set the address that originally showed the problem, my BT one, and since this morning, it is almost working 100%, I'll leave well alone and see if it settles down. (One step forward and nineteen backwards!!)

iCloud's mail server settings are different from MobileMe's. Strictly speaking Lion 10.7.2 is required for iCloud, and on that Mail is set up automatically.
Snow Leopard cannot access most of iCloud's facilities, however you can set Mail up manually to access your email. The method is described here:

iCloud cannot access your AOL account (the MobileMe facility for checking external POP accounts does not exist in iCloud) - you will have to do this in the Mail application in the usual way. You could of course set up forwarding from your AOL account to iCloud (assuming they provide this facility) but you will not be able to reply using iCloud's SMTP server with anything other than the iCloud address as the 'From' address.

Hi jodilynnf,
When using Connection Doctor to see what is could be causing the issue, look for the red dots to let you know what is wrong. Then all you have to do is correct that information. You can double click on the section that is giving you issue and it will take you there. Most issues could be just password being entered incorrectly. We are using POP account for our email communication.Due to issues in POP account,we are planning to use IMAP for downloading the emails and also for synchronization with mobile devices.
Please let me know how to copy the pst file of POP account to IMAP account.
Is there any possibility available of copying /Moving PST pop account to IMAP account directly.

Hi Pradeep.R,
We cannot move an existing POP3 account directly to an IMAP account. To do this, you should first remove your current POP3 account, then add your IMAP account into Outlook client. After this, transfer your current mails, which you downloaded
via POP3 to your IMAP account.
You should contact your email service provider for the correct IMAP account settings.
To transfer your data, simply select the messages or folders in the existing .pst file, then drag and drop them into your current IMAP account.

By "me" do you mean a MobileMe account? If so, then you can't as MobileMe is going to be terminated at the end of June. What you should look at is an iCloud account.

They are, however the Facebook website can have certain web Apps incorporated into or configured for it. Like games, and Birthday Calendar etc... One of those is Skype for Facebook.

1. Not sure if it will work on an iPad as it probably uses either Flash or Java which are not supported by Apple

Yes. The account is universal. You create one accopunt and sign in to it in whichever device you want to use to Skype. This allows you to have your contacts on all the devices because they are assigned to that particular account.

I'm having a similar problem, but I do have the key and is not working anyway.
My old pc was running on windows 7 and my new one is an apple running on Lion.
My phone is an Iphone IV and I can see all the bookmarks there.
In order to sync, what I did was click on the "I don't have the device with me", I entered the key that was provided and the process finish ok. It says congratulations, etc, etc.
But the bookmarks are not there, I tried merging data and replacing data on this computer options but is the same.
Any suggestions?

1, In manual FI posting in company code of china, eg. by transaction code FB01, which account number is used for this posting? Account number in operational chart of accounts or account number in country chart of accounts?
2, The alternative account No. in country chart of accounts also needs to be created with compnay code level master?
Or we just need create account in operational chart of accounts with company code level master?
3, If we use account in operational chart of accounts for FI posting by company code of China, after posing, two accounting documents are generated, one with account in operational chart of accounts? Another one with account in country chart of accounts?

Auto selected G/L Account and COGS Account by CardCode then ItemGroup

I am new to the community. I have been working on learning SAP B1 8.8 since the beginning of the year. So far its been a great time
I have been searching for a solution for method of having multiple G/L Accounts and COGS Accounts in Delivery Notes. I have done the following:
1. Create the following chart of accounts
     a. Revenues -MB North America
     b. Revenues -MB Latin America
     c. Revenues -VC North America
     d. Revenues -VC Latin America
     e. COGS -MB North America
     f. COGS -MB Latin America
     g. COGS -VC North America
     h. COGS -VC Latin America
The company being setup sales motherboards and video cards. I need to track the sales of each division by item group. The problem is that the company shares warehouses for both divisions. I tried managing the journal posting by Item Level. This would have worked if the warehouses where not used to fulfill orders from both division. This leaves me with managing the posting by Warehouse or by Item Group. Unfortunately, none of the three methods take into account the BP to post.
I am trying to tell SAP B1 to take into consideration the BP and them the item. After it will need to refer to the Item Group, the system will need to post each Delivery Note Line Item to the appropriate G/L Account and COGS. I have been researching FMS structure trying to accomplish this task but I have not had much success.
To help make the query, I am using the AliasName in the OCRD as a holder for the division. '01' for North America and '02' for Latin America.
Any ideas on how to manage a divisional revenue/cost structure that can be group by item group and share warehouses?

I close the other thread. The system made two posting.

In Logistics Invoice Verification, you can also post invoices that do not refer to a purchase order or a delivery. A typical example of this is a bill for expenses.
As in the case of an invoice with a reference, you first need to enter the header data and the vendor information.
In contrast to invoices with a reference, the system does not display any proposed values for the invoice items, since it cannot determine any purchase order items and posted goods receipts for this invoice. As a result, the system does not know which accounts are affected by the offsetting entry for the vendor line item. Therefore, you must specify which accounts the amounts are to be posted to. The SAP System provides the following options:
Posting to a G/L account
You post to G/L accounts if you, for example, want to settle small amounts for freight costs and similar items and do not want to add these to the material accounts or cost accounts for the invoice items.
Posting to a material account
You post to material accounts, if you, for example, want to debit or credit a material without using a purchase order reference
You can also combine these options by generating the relevant posting lines one after the other, or by generating lines with reference to a purchase order.
When you enter an invoice without a reference, you may find that a vendor has not been created in the system. You can post this invoice to a one-time account.
You can have activated this functionality if you want to post directly to GL account and material.

here u can post invoices w/o reference to PO directly material account
Check info Given by SAP
If you have activated posting to material accounts in Customizing, you can enter invoice lines without a PO reference on the Material tab page. These lines are then posted to the given material when you post the invoice
When posting directly to a material, no posting is made to a GR/IR clearing account. The system posts manually entered material lines directly to the stock account or a price difference account, depending on price control and stock coverage

Accounting effects are as follows;
During Migo

During Miro
The provision key account +ve
The vendor account -ve.
In SD VKOA also has the similar. May I know if my understanding is correct below?
During VF01
The customer account +ve
The account key account -ve
or

In normal circumstances, the provisional G/L Account column would be used in case of rebates where the value to be accrued to a G/L Account and later on, based on this, settlement can be made.
In some cases, where if you want the amount to get posted like this, apart from normal G/L Account, then you need to have a different G/L Account here. In one of my earlier projects, we had configured for an exports scenario where we had a provisional G/L Account for Account Heads like Terminal Handling Charges, Clearing and Forwarding Expenses etc., In Accounting Document view, if you see this, for the same amount, two entries will be posted; one for Balance sheet account and another for P&L statement account which can be differentiated in FS00 under the tab "Type/description"
