TestStand package is built to work with other NI software products such as LabVIEW and LabWindows/CVI.
You can write your test code as LabVIEW VIs. Those VIs do not have to be compiled into executables. You would simply use a LabVIEW Adapter which allows TestStand engine to call LabVIEW VIs.
One very useful feature of TestStand is that it allows you to debug VIs when called from TestStand. TestStand's execution pauses and you can use LabVIEW's debugging tools to debug VIs.

System files are hidden by default in Finder now, search for what you want then click the little + button on the top right of the bar that appears when you do a search. A new bar comes up and click the first box (that says "Kind"), change it to "System Files". Then change the box that says "aren't included" to "are included" and your file should show up.

I think my iPod touch is a 3rd generation. It is a 4.2.1 Version, 8 GB.
My 89 year old mother has totally lost her hearing. I would like to experiment with my ipod touch to see if an ipod is what she could use in her assisted living arrangement.
My ipod does not have an internal microphone as far as I can tell.
I see on the internet that I can purchase an external microphone.
I do not want a headset microphone just an external microphone where someone could speak into when the dragon app is on and it will transfer talk to text for her to read.
Can someone help me: a) do you think this will work.
b) what do I have to do to make it work.

Hello I wanted to bump this thread up.
I fell time has come time to once again embark on a job search quest for me.
What has changed since the opening thread?:
My CLD has expired, but I intend to recertify using the CLD-R and very quickly once again to CLA. ( plan is to do it in march ).
During my last 2 years I've worked predominatnly in LabVIEW on very high speed DAQ with insane data-rates.
Learned how to do proper multi threading in LabVIEW and work with ginormous data -sets in the hundreds od GB,
Learned how to do proper 64-bit labview apps, and use memory efficiently.
Got experience working on Oil and Gas stuff. Gained Team Lead Experience.
What am I looking for:
Software Architect, Team Lead or Software Manager positions.
I'm also trying to get canadian residence, which should take me approx 10 moths to sort out, but if a job offer came sooner this could boost me.
So Canadian offers are of my particuar interest.

Anybody have an old copy of labview for 68K Macs they don't need?

I have a few NI NUBUS cards I wanted to use with a 68K version of Labview
just to mess around. Anybody have an old 68K compatible version of Labview
in the US they dont want (I think 4.x is the last version made).

I cannot provide you with an old version of LabVIEW, but hopefully I can help you find some useful documentation. Take a look at the Manuals search on our website to try to locate specific manuals. When looking for older versions, I suggest searching by the year of release.

The candidate will use Labview to develop test stands and production equipment as well as develop production releases and special purpose test software. ·         Develop or maintain LabVIEW applications to operate the development systems and skids for several product platforms.
·         Employ hardware platforms of National Instruments hardware, off-the-shelf equipment, plus custom hardware. Experience desirable in SCXI, CompaqDAQ, and USB hardware. Write software to control equipment and record data.
·         Perform advanced LabVIEW programming techniques and interaction of the software with the hardware. TCP/IP and CAN interfaces; LabVIEW Real-Time module and LabVIEW FPGA modules.

The only way to really have everything in English is to install an English version of LabVIEW. You may want to talk to your local NI sales representative about the possibility of getting a different version.
