I have 3 songs on my iPod touch 4g that I don't want but on iTunes it says 0 songs, so I do not know what to do to delete the songs?

I have 3 songs I don't want on my iPod touch 4th gen, it shows 3 songs on my iPod but 0 songs om iTunes, can someone please help me?

Have you tried swiping from right to left across the song, then pressing "Delete"?
