Start with the restoring your iPod and then trying the sync again. You will also want to make sure that your iTunes is authorized to play any purchase content.

I can't get icloud to sync ALL of my information, only my calendar!?

I have opened an account and am successfully using the iCloud calendar which automatically updates between my Mac and iPhone 4, as expected. However, it took a while for this to work and I still can't get any of the other applications, like Reminders or Contacts, to connect. I have them switched on on the iPhone in the iCloud settings and can't find any more help about what I need to do. I've also tried 'backing up' and switching them both off and on again. Please help. Are you sure your calendar doesn't belong to another service such as Gmail (Google), Yahoo or and exchange account that is set up on your Mac, rather than iCloud? If the calendar doesn't appear on iCloud.com, it isn't an iCloud calendar that you are seeing on your Mac.

One iCloud account has one user name (a .mac or .me email name) and password. If you have set up multiple accounts in the past then you must choose one and stay with it. If you don't know the user name, then you have a problem. If you haven't really begun using iCloud (but you mention trying to get mail, so I'm assuming you have used iCloud before), then use a .mac or .me account you know you have or just sign up for a new account - and be sure to write down the name and password for future use.
If you want to use the account to sync your contacts, email, calendars, etc, then each of your ios devices need to use the same account, otherwise they will be independent of one another.

The iphone is not a storage/backup device.
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for this very occasion.
Have you failed to do this?
If so, not good, then you can transfer itunes purchases: File>Devices>Transfer Purchases
You may be able to purchase a third partyn program to get the rest ( not supported by Apple)

I had one game permanently just stop working, it usually does crash, but that last time it just went bad, I don't know the reason, I tried powering off iPod, relaunching game, but the game never worked again. I think it corrupted its own save file or some of its own data.
Have you tried another game or app, do those work? If they do, then I guess you know where the problem lies, but if they all stop working, then what about apps, can apps launch?
Lastly, apps from the app store are checked by Apple, so they are clean.

Thanks the address you gave me gave me what I needed but still had alot of trouble with the game. Come to find out it was my browser IE8 that was causing all the problem. So I changed to google chrome and loaded the regular version of Flash player and have been able to get on the game. Now i have trouble with my plugins can you send me a link to find Adobe flash player plugin 9.0.124.0?

Those songs aren't on your iPhone, they are in iCloud.
If you don't want to see what's stored in iCloud, Settings > Music > Show All Music > Off (white)

We got it to print via USB but when we switched to ethernet hook up via Time Capsule it won't communicate or install the printer.

The Early 2006 model 1,1 Core Duo can only run a maximum of 10.6 Snow Leopard. The models Late 2006 Core 2 Duos 2,1 through Early 2008 4,1 can only run a maximum of 10.7 Lion. The Late 2008 model 5,1 Aluminum Unibody through the Mid 2010 White Unibody model 7,1 can run 10.8 Mountain Lion.
To see which model you have go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac, then click on More Info. When System Profiler comes up check the Model Identifier and post it back here.
The Snow Leopard 10.6 DVD should still be available from Apple for $20. You will have to call Apple Customer Care 1-800-692-7753 or 1-800-676-2775 to purchase it. It may still be in the Legacy Products list.
If they no longer have any in stock you will have to buy it from eBay or Apple resellers that still have stock. But you will have to pay a premium since the DVDs are no longer being made. Snow Leopard DVDs are already up to $100 on Amazon.

Then within 3 days you will get an email with a code which you can use to download Lion from the App Store. The price is still $29. You must have at least a model 2,1 MacBook.
Lion will require at least 2gb of RAM but really needs 4gb to run smoothly.

Also Lion doesn't run any Power PC programs. To see if you have any Power PC programs go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac, then click on More Info. When System Profiler comes up select Applications under Software. Then look under Kind to see if any of your applications are listed as Power PC. Universal and Intel will run under Lion.
Before Mac switched to Intel processors in 2006 they used Power PC processors from 1994 to 2005. Power PC 601 through 604, G3, G4 and G5. Applications written for the Power PC processors need the application called Rosetta to run on Intel processors. This was part of the Operating System in 10.4 and 10.5 but was an optional install in 10.6. With 10.7 Lion Apple dropped all support for Power PC applications.
