I have a MacBook pro that I bought in 2012, I have had problems with it randomly restarting almost since it was new. I called tech support several times and they did tests each time and thought they had it fixed but later it started again. Some times it will go a month and not do it but lately it has been doing it more frequently some times several times a day. Day before yesterday I took it to the apple store and left it. today they called and said they could find nothing wrong with it. But they said they could see where it had restarted 60 times. Does anyone have any suggestions.
These instructions must be carried out as an administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Ifou don't see any reports listed, but you know there was a panic, you may have chosen Diagnostic and Usage Messages from the log list. Choose DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION instead.
In the Console window, select
DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION ▹ System Diagnostic Reports
(not Diagnostic and Usage Messages) from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
There is a disclosure triangle to the left of the list item. If the triangle is pointing to the right, click it so that it points down. You'll see a list of reports. A panic report has a name that begins with "Kernel" and ends in ".panic". Select the most recent one. The contents of the report will appear on the right. Use copy and paste to post the entire contents—the text, not a screenshot.
If you don't see any reports listed, but you know there was a panic, you may have chosen Diagnostic and Usage Messages from the log list. Choose DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION instead.
In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.)
Please don’t post other kinds of diagnostic report.
I know the report is long, maybe several hundred lines. Please post all of it anyway. -
I tunes keeps telling me that it can not read my phone and it wants me to reset to factory setting there is nothing wrong with my phone and my computer reads the phone. What should I do I already did the restart of the apple mpbile device service.
Do an iCloud-backup, reset the iPhone and restore is from the iCloud-backup.

You're getting the itch, too. I understand, there are alot of cool phones around the market. I can't wait for Verizon to get the 9650. I have the Tour now, but I think just to have a trackpad and more memory would be enough for me to upgrade. I haven't seriously looked at the Android devices yet, but I am going to give them a look too. I really don't know much about them to be able to comment either way, good or bad. I guess it's just a matter of looking around at all the features and deciding what to get. Also, looking and browsing through the forums for common complaints for various devices can help give you ideas of possible future problems you might run into. Anyways. Good luck.

My email won't send from my iPad. It says the server rejects it almost immediately I press the send email button, although there is nothing wrong with my email account when sending from my laptop or iphone. I have cancelled the account and re-entered it but it hasn't made a difference? Anybody help?

Thank you for your help . The account used to work perfectly until recently, after receiving support from the provider, I deleted the account now I am trying to set the account again.
After putting in the first details (name, email, description) Cannot send mail the password or username for "mail.bigpond.com" is incorrect. I would expect this because the information I put in is not for Bigpond. So I press ok & I change the outgoing server (this is the one that is incorrectly labelled bigpond) to aapt, then I press save.
Then it says "verifying" but comes up with Cannot connect using SSL do you want to try setting up the account without SSL. I press yes.
Then I get the message "the POP server "mail.aapt.net.au" is not responding. Check your network connection & that you entered the correct information in the incoming mail server. (I ahve already checked this with aapt & it is correct. -
When I attempt to connect to iCloud I get the error message: Apple id's email address cannot be verified. There is nothing wrong with my apple id and I do not want to change it.Any suggestions?

I am cannot access the iTunes store via iTunes on my PC and also can not update to 10.6.3. It keeps telling me that my connection has times out and/or check my settings. There is nothing wrong with my setting. I am also having trouble with the app store on my iPhone 4s and can not update apps.

My A'Extreme sometimes won't connect to my MacBook Pro even if I have a green light on the device . I can unplug the ethernet cable and reconnect and it will work fine. all diagnostics say there is nothing wrong. Any ideas ?
This is more about your modem then anything. Sometimes you'll need to unplug and plug back in your modem. Consider it a glitch from the ISP or just the modem in general.
when I need to turn something off then on I try the modem first. This when I'm not doing any ware and tare to the device. -
My phone will sometimes have a red dot on the phone icon. I am not able to make or recieve calls. It will say searching where the dots are in the upper left hand corner. Help????

Sorry, I just noticed, I made a mistake. "Image Capture" is in the Applications folder, not Utilities. And it may have a different name on your Mac, if your system language is not English: Look for the icon with the camera:
When Image Capture can import from your iPhone, spilt the folder with the imported photos in several small subfolders and try to import them separately to iPhoto. This way, you can identify a subset of photos with the corrupted one.
Then try to import from that small subset one by one, until you hit the culprit. And then delete that photo or video from the phone. -
Everytime I try and sign into my iCloud account it tells me I can't log in due to a server error, but there is nothing wrong with my server . It also wont allow me to view any of my Photos or Documents that I have backed up. Please help

Are you running any Anti-virus software or do you have your firewall turned on? If so, disable them and try again. If that doesn't work, delete the iCloud account and then sign it back on again.
Make sure you are running the most current version of the iCloud Control Panel:

When I try to import songs from a CD into iTunes it can't find the titles online. This wasn't a problem previously, now it is. There is nothing wrong with my internet connection. Any solutions? Help says to try again later but no luck there. I've tried multiple times with multiple CDs.
To answer the post title FireFox save all downloads automatically in the download folder, which you can find in the Documents folder. If you want to choose where to save your downloads go to tools>options>check always ask me where to save files.
Secondly, I am assuming you have IE 8 installed as this is the only version that supports this fix that is currently not in beta. Go to control panel>internet options>advanced tab and reset the settings at the bottom. This may or may not fix the problem but it is a good first step. -
