I have a 16g iPhone4 and iCloud takes up 5g if I delete the iCloud account to free up space will my iPad4 and iPhone still be in sync with my calendars, reminders, contacts, photos and so on?........
Deleting an iCloud account on an iOS device just deletes the account on the device, nothing more.

I had about 80 songs on my ipod and it worked fine until one day i purchased some new music from itunes and discovered that it wouldn't sync. I tried various things and finally wiped the ipod clean thinking it would sync then. It doesn't and now I have no music on it. When I check for devices, the sync option is grayed out on itunes. I even tried it from another computer but it won't sync with that either.

I have changed my apple id, and its ok when i sync my Iphone with Itunes, but ON my Iphone still my old apple-ID is there. I can NOT buy things from Itunes or Upgrade anything now, how to fix this?
I recently changed my email address and want to change my Apple ID account to match. I have created a new Apple ID to match the new account but now I can't sign into iCloud on our phones or computer with the old Apple ID. I can't make any changes on iCloud on our phones because it directs me to the old account, which I can't sign into. I also can't sign me in on my computer to make any changes. Help!!! The way iCloud works is that it isn't actually 'syncing', though this is how it's often referred to. The data lives on the iCloud server and is read from there by the various devices (just like webmail). Therefore when you make a change on your iPhone you are actually changing the iCloud website (there is an internal procedure to allow you to make the changes while you are offline, and they are then changed on the site when you next connect).
Therefore any device whose changes appear on the iCloud site, and who can read changes on the site made by other devices, is working: and any device whose changes do not appear, and which cannot receive changes made by other devices which have appeared on the site, is failing to connect. This appears to be the issue with your Mac.
When this happens, sometimes signing out and in again resets the whole setup and corrects the problem. If another device such as your iPhone is connecting to the iCloud server correctly then nothing you do on it will affect your Mac. (In fact even if it isn't connecting it has no effect on your Mac, only on its own ability to transmit changes to the iCloud server). -
My nephew set up his own iCloud account on my phone, and I want to delete his iCloud account, without losing all my data, including, my apps, contacts, calendar events, music. If I delete his account, will I still have everything saved from before deleting his account?? I don't want to lose a single thing...I'm afraid to delete his iCloud account, and risk losing EVERYTHING I have on my phone. Is there another way to save everything without the risk of losing everything from deleting his iCloud account?
Deleting the iCloud account from your phone only deletes the account and any data you are syncing with the account (that is, any data that is set to On in Settings>iCloud). However, when you delete the account you are prompted about what to do with the iCloud data. If you want to keep it on your phone, be sure to choose Keep on My iPhone when prompted. Also, be sure to save any photo stream photos that are not in your camera roll or backed up somewhere else before deleting the account. To do this, open the photo stream album, tap Edit, tap all the photos you want to save, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll.
Deleting the account will not touch any other data on your phone (music, apps, etc.). -
Wifi just stopped working on an iPhone 4S, iOS 8.1.3. Have reset to factory settings and restored, still no wifi. Will next release of iOS address this problem?

I have forgotten icloud account password linked to my ipad. I am unable to reset the password as well as delete this account from my ipad, and use a new one.

After installing the 64 bit version of itunes my iphone still won't sync. I get the explantation that I mobile driver application did not download and i need to remove and reinstall itunes (which I have done numberous times). Any help?
Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, does your device connect without that message now? -

Thank you I tried the reset again did not fix- I think I am down to calling Apple and paying for a tech - phone company says it is a software problem. I just updated to 8.1.3 - I thought the update might fix it.

i am try to use my itunes which i have not used in a while trying to do all the upgrades. i have an older macbook but i cant download anything. so is apple saying that i will not be able to connect my iphone to macbook ever unless i get a new laptop?
Your MacBook is compatible with Mac OS X 10.6.8, which is the minimum required to install the current version of iTunes and sync devices running iOS 7. It doesn't need to be compatible with Lion, Mountain Lion, or Mavericks.

I unistall iTune twice and downloaded it again, restart the PC several times, i did as many wrote but NON of them helped
My iPhone still stuck on Syncing and Backing up (Step 2 of 4), or (Step 2 of 5) or even (Step 2 of 7), its been connected to pc for more than 5 hours. As well as removing the iphone the cycle sign from the iphone doesnt dissapere unless i restarted the iphone
As well i cant add music to my iphone coz it allways goes for backing up and stucks.

I'm trying to sync a 4s so that it can be activated w ATT...my computer says that I need to have 11.1 or higher in order to do that but when I download from the itunes site nothing happens and I still can't sync phone...what am I doing wrong?
The screen that says "Download Now" also shows the proposed iTunes version number (in the box below):
Be sure it indicates 11.1.3.
