I have recently purchased a Panasonic Digital GX1 camera and cannot import images into iPhoto as I could previously from either a compactflash or SD card using RAW. The GX1 uses a SDHC card. When I attempt to import the taken RAW images iPhoto informs me that the images are not in a readable format yet they are RAW images. What version of the OS and of iPhoto?

There are several ways
Shoot JPEG rather than RAW
Use the Canon software (or other third party software like Adobe) to convert images prior to importing to iPhoto
Wait until your camera is supported

Have been using Lightroom on my Apple computer for years. Now, ever since upgrading to Apple's Yosemite operating system I get an error message (150:30) every time I try to open a lightroom file. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Also how do I subscribe to Adobe's Premium Support? Every time I've tried (through contact support) I just get taken on an unending loop.

Exactly what files are you trying to open?
Exactly how are you trying to open them (what menu command or button or mouse action or keyboard shortcut)?
And lastly, what version of Lightroom are you using? -

Could be the SIM card, the iPad, or both.

When I try to add a new picture to my Imovie project a different photo that I already used keeps appearing instead of the selected picture. No matter what I do the same picture keep appearing no matter what other picture I try to use. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

ThanksI've had this happen several times... I suspect the download was interrupted for some unreported reason so it only has a partial file or has a corrupt byte in the file it failed to catch.
Just delete the local copy and re-download from the cloud and they play fine. -
I recently purchased the new iPhone and bought a folding wallet case. On one side there are slots for credit cards and the other holds the phone. I noticed that the credit cards are making an impression in my phone screen. I don't put my phone in my back pocket, always carry it in my front slacks pocket. It does not seem like credit cards should be able to scratch a display. Has anyone else noticed this problem?

Install the latest version of iTunes on your computer.
Plug in your device to your computer.
In iTunes, select your device.
In the Summary pane, click Check for Update.
Click Download and Update.

What do I do if I can't upload photos into my photobook? Every time that I try, the upload starts but then stops. Then the only options I have are to cancel or retry. Has anyone else had this problem and how have they solved it?
I solved the problem. Had nothing to do with Mac or iphoto. Problem must be my the internet connection to my provider.
Upload at my office worked without any problem. One problem solved, now i am aware with a lot of discussions with my providers helpdesk ;-) -
After doing a software update for iPhoto, some of the photos in my library appear distorted and stretched. I have tried repairing the library, rebuliding and repairing the thumbnails but they are still distorted. Has anyone else experienced this and found a solution?
What upgrade did you apply? As a test launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library. Import some photos and test to see if the same problem persists. Does it?

I have to answer twice on an incoming call on my Iphone 5 before the other party responds. Does anyone else encounter this problem? Thank you.
When you respond to an incoming call by pressing the green button, your cellular provider may take a second or two to actually get the connection going.
Instead of saying "Hello" twice, try waiting a second or two until the first "Hello" from when you click the green button. -
When I download music into Itunes on my PC, every song is transferred into a specific playlist. Twice now when I have opened up Itunes, all the recent songs that have been moved into playlists have been deleted by Itunes. I now have to go back and figure out which songs are missing and re-add them. It is driving me crazy. I have 10,000 songs and now have no idea which ones are missing and which ones have been retained.

When I upgraded to iTunes 10.5.2 I lost the ability to Drag&Drop. I started a new playlist and I could only add songs by cut and paste, and once they were on the list I can’t rearrange them in any other order.
I realized I can't drag and drop either, but I barely have any songs and I've never noticed if this feature was there before 10.5.2. Is this only on a playlist?

My apple wireless keyboard is just over a year old, but Ifind the delete ( spacebar ) button does not function, does any one know if this is a common fault, do I need to have an apple technician to take a look at it?
It appears to be out of date so far as the warranty is concerned. There may have been some minor detritus slipped down the side of the key. See if you can find a buush with stiff but fine hair. Perhaps a toothbrush. Then brush around the key. It is possible to remove the key if you are very careful and that would make it easier but you have to be very careful. You are sure there hasn't been any liquid spilt; even the smallest amount can cause a drama..

The micro phone on my i-pad mini seems to have stopped working. The unit has never been rough housed and is always kept in a safe environment....we can hear everything fine, but no one can hear us and it does not pick up any sounds when recording video. Any suggestions on how to fix it?
