I have a 2007 MacBook and I want to install the latest possible version of OS X. What version is that?

Like I said, I have a mid-2007 MacBook (note that it is NOT a MacBook Pro) and I want to install the latest possible version of OS X on it. I would like to know what the latest version that it can handle is. I know that the latest version of OS X is Mavericks, but I'm pretty sure that won't work on it, so will Lion or Snow Leopard?

Boot from your installer disc. If the problem is still present, then take it in for service.

1) authorize iTunes on the new machine for your iTunes store account(s)
2) connect your device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.
3) sync the device
iTunes will wipe the iPhone but, since you transferred your purchases in the previous step, your content will be in your library and you can re-populate the iPhone with it.

Howard has the easiest answer. Or at least, cheapest, since you don't need to purchase an external CD/DVD drive.
The "demo" software from Microsoft's site is exactly the same as what's on the DVD. Install that and activate it with the key in your software box.

There are two options for installing Office for Mac if your Mac doesn't have a DVD drive.
Option 1: Convert your Office for Mac 2011 trial. To convert a trial version, you must have a valid product key. The product key will convert your trial into a fully licensed version of Office for Mac.
1. Locate the 25-character product key in your product package or confirmation email.
2. Open any Office for Mac application, like Word, PowerPoint, or Excel.
3. On the first screen of the Microsoft Office Setup Assistant, click Enter your Product Key.

Does this application wipe out all of the existing data on the external hard drive, or will it create a new "folder" for the backup?

No, but as steve359 states you should use a dedicated hard drive for backups. It you need a temporary backup then you can use the drive provided it has sufficient space for all your data on the hard drive.
When Time Machine finds that the drive has data on it already it may decide to erase the drive before continuing, which is another reason to use a dedicated drive.

A couple of methods.
The first is to copy 2 files, key3,db and signons.sqlite from the profile folder of the old computer t the profile folder of the new computer. For details of how to find the profile folder see the [[profiles]] article.
The second method is to install the [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2848/ Password Exporter] add-on on both computers and use that to export/import the passwords.

You can only purchase and download content from your own country's store - to be able to buy from the US store you need a valid billing address in the US and be in the US when purchasing from it. At the moment I think that only free books are available in the Vietnamese store, so I don't think that requesting that the book be added to your store will have any impact (and Apple can't sell a book in a particular country without the publisher granting them a license to do so). Is the book available in any other ebook stores/apps that you have access to ?

     Ram >=1 GB
     Hard disc>=120GB
Start Win2000 Setup using win2K Bootable CD
     Create 3 partitions
          C: 15000 MB
          D: 63000 MB
          E: Remaining
     Install win2k in C: Partition
     Give Computer Name STARR3
After win2k Installation
Click on                 Button select SettingsControl Panel
In the control panel window select Add/Remove Hardware
Now Click Next  Finish
     Right Click on My Network Places ICON (Which is on Desktop)  Click Properties
     Right Click on Local Area Connection Click on Properties Then u will get Bellow screen

I have win7 64 bit, and when I tried installing the new update, it failed. I tried reinstalling and still no joy. I have attempted this several times. This is first time experiencing this. Is there a fix in the works?

I have Win7 64 bit and when I tried to install the latest I-Tunes update it failed and told me to reinstall. I attempted the reinstall and got the same result. I have attempted this several times already even after following the recommendations from Apple website to correct this problem. I have installed numerous updates for I-Tunes and this is the first one to fail. Is there a fix in the works from Apple for this? I believe the update is flawed and should be re-evaluated by Apple and this update re-issued with different version #.
