If your webcam is powered by USB, make sure it is attached directly to your Mac and not a USB hub. In my case, I had my Rocketfish webcam attached to a peripheral USB hub and it wasn't drawing enough power to operate at capacity. Therefore, Facetime was quitting on me and giving me that exact error message. Once I attached the webcam directly to my Mac USB port, problem solved. Hope that helps.

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

- Reset all settings If yu can see the screen enough to do it)

- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

It is self explanitory When I try to go online it keeps saying it is in the offline mode and won't go online I have tried several times .Firefox is my main internet site and the earlier ones do work like a dream .

Does File > Work Offline has a check mark when that happens?

Note, however, that if you have some unauthorized shop perform a repair, you will thereafter be able to get no support from Apple for your iPhone, even if you're willing to pay them. Quotes I'm finding for replacing the screen are around £ 99, which in my mind would not be enough savings to void all support from Apple, but it's up to you.

If the Reset/Reboot doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
Finally, if the Restore doesn't work, let the battery drain completely. Then recharge for at least an hour and Restore again.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

I've followed every possible instruction on every which website. The problem is when I boot to Install disc, I am unable to choose which hard drive I'd like to install the OS on. It says that it is unable to Install and automatically takes me to Restore and suggests that I restore to Time Machine backups. Any and all help is appreciated.

have you tried booting from the grey Mac OS X Install DVD that originally came in the box with your MacBook Pro? See if you can install its version of Mac OS X (either 10.4.9, 10.4.10, or 10.5.0, depending upon when it shipped from the factory) onto your external hard drive. If that works, boot from your external hard drive, run Software Update on it, and then try updating your external drive to 10.6.3 via the white Snow Leopard DVD.

The fact that you can receive means you have a valid e mail address, and have established the connection to the incoming server, so all of that works. Since the send does not work, that means your outgoing server is rejecting whatever settings you used formthe outgoing set up. Try them again.
Google your particular isp, and ipad and many times you will find the exact settings needed for your isp. Or tell us here, and soneone else may be on the same isp. Some mail services need you to change a port, or have a unique name for the outgoing server.

there is nospecial way to locate your iPod, Apple will not help. Your SN is only good for identifying the iPod as yours if it is found.
