There does exist a way to add a second monitor via USB:
USB 2.0 to HDMI Audio Video 1080P Adapter for Windows and Macbook
It's the only device I know of that can do that. The problem is that it wants a HDMI connection. So that means a HDMI-to-VGA adapter or converter needs to be found (not VGA-to-HDMI, those are easier to find).

The file name only has 6 characters and I'm not sure what the .mod format is. So that's why they are not seen by the iPad.
Another way to transfer. You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)

Just for my own privacy i would like to set up a password or pin number on my messgae app is there anything out there that will help me do this please comment if there is a possible solution out there. What do you mean what should you do? Just because you don't want to pay too much for a phone, doesn't make the price any cheaper. If you can't afford the price of an unlocked phone, then you don't, or can't, buy one.

I just purchased an ibook for my mac for the first time and it started with two pages then switched to one with notes and i can't change it back. Anyone else having this problem?
Up the top where the three buttons are (red yellow green) are three images. Click on the third image that looks like a notepad (not the first which is a library book), and that should get rid of 'Notes'. To read using two pages make the window bigger.

Would like to Download films on 3G but iPad2 does not. Why?
I would like to download a Film with iPad2 using 3G/UMTS but my iPad does not do that. It says I have to use a WiFi-Network. My mobile-Provider says that there Suizid Be nö Problem for me - 7,2 Mbit and 5 GB and no limitations. Apple says it is Not a Problem of Apple.

I have Garage Band on my Ipad Mini and I notice that it does not have a "delay effect" that can be added to my music. There are other effects, but no delay, which is the most important one for me. How can I add this effect? Thank you.There are not many effects available in GarageBand on the iPad. You can add reverb and echo to the Master Track, but that's it.

After you sign in, click on "Passwords and Security" on the left.
You will be asked to answer the security questions, but you should also notice a link below the second "Answer" field offering to send reset instructions to your rescue email address that you provided.
Check the Inbox of your rescue email address. The email should appear within a minute or two. If it does not, be sure to check Spam. If it is not there either, you can repeat the above process to resend. Once you get the email, following the link will take you to a page where you must sign in again. After doing so, you will have the option to choose three new security questions and answers, which you may want to write down
After you fill in the required information and continue, you should be taken to a confirmation screen stating "Your password and security information has been saved," and then you are done.
The "Forgot your answers?" link will not appear if you do not have a rescue email address set up. -

Check your junk mail folder.
Go back to id.apple.com, and choose manage, enter your appleID and password. It will take you to a page where your account info is displayed, and there should be a link to resend the verification email. -

You don't need a phone port on the iMac. The HP 7300 DeskJet Pro has an internal modem, you connect the printer's modem connection directly to your phone line. Please re-read the install directions that came with the printer.
