Load and save the songs perfectly without problems but when I disconnect itunes not playing songs.
I have reset through itunes several times but still the same.
I need help please.

Aside from that, I went to the Itunes store to purchase books like I have done at least 100 times before with no problems. Now I can by the book and get it to my computer, however when I tried to download the book to my 3rd generation ipod the dialog box informed me that to download any new audiobook purchases I would need an ipod touch. My ipod nano 3rd generation serves my purposes just fine. Why should I be forced to buy something I do not want just to continue something I have always done seamlessly? I know this is more of a rant than a question but I am sure someone else out there has had this happen to them. Maybe you could share your thoughts on how to work around this issue if possible?

I forgot to add the last obvious and crucial step I had taken - plugging a different iPod into my system. It was also not recognized. That was the final proof I needed to determine if the problem was device or system. But now what?

I've confirmed the mac address is included on that list and that the password is correct. Under choses netwrok I select the network and it just goes into a spin. I have tried removing the password and the access list settings and it still will not complete the connection to the router thus no internet access. The routers firmware is also up to date. This thing worked fine before this update and I've already tried to restore from backup. Any ideas or is the wifi nic bad in this thing with the new apple firmware update? Any fix?

There is no exchange program. If the damage was caused by the user, it also wouldn't be covered by any warranty, so your best bet is to try to sell it as is or get it fixed and then sell it or keep using it. Some resellers will accept trade ins - I know this company accepts trade ins, but it may just be Macs, not iDevices - you can check though:

Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

What was the complete wording of the error message? Usually an error number is also given.
Maybe:
ERROR (1)
- Place the iPod in DFU mode and then restore

- Try on another computer
- Try another cable
- Also, confirm your security software and settings are allowing communication between your device and update servers.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

An iPod can pn;y sync wiht one iTunes kibrary and the new computer is a new iTunes library:
- Transfer iTunes purchases to the computer by:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer
- Transfer other music by using a third-party probgram like one of those dicussed here:
Copy music from Ipod to new computer...: Apple Support Communities
- Connect the iPod to the computer and make a backup by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up
- Restore the iPod from that backup

Syncing 5th generation ipod but where are the movies?

After syncing my 5th generation ipod video to get recently bought movies, I can't seem to see the movies, TV shows or music videos when I disconnect the ipod from the computer. Is there a setting or something I'm suppose to do or am I missing something?

I think it could be one of 2 things. In itunes (7.1.1) when you plug in your ipod and the summary screen for the ipod appears got to the movies tab and make sure the 'sync movies' box is ticked also below this it should say 'all movies'. Or on your ipod go to settings>mainmenu>and make sure movies or tv shows are set to 'on' they will then show in the main screen of your ipod.

Please help, I cannot get any apps free or bought, I am able to update just fine and, I can use the apps I already have with no problem. iOSSearch - search the iTunes store for compatible apps.
Apple Club - filter apps by iOS version.
Starting when iOS 7 was releases, Apple now allows downloading the last compatible version of some apps (iOS 4.2.1 and later only)
App Store: Downloading Older Versions of Apps on iOS - Apple Club
App Store: Install the latest compatible version of an app
You first have to download the non-compatible version on your computer. Then when you try to purchase the version on your iPod you will be offered a compatible version if one exists.
