I have a 4gen iPod and I've had it for about a year and I can not get to update software
I have a 4gen iPod touch I can't get it to update since I bought it last year it's still has the 5.1.1 (9B206) it has 6.5g free storage every time I try to update it says update fail download error I am downloading via wifi good signal and everything
Connect the iPod to your computer and update via iTunes. Your problerm has happened to others too.

Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
or
Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
- Then do the other actions of:

- New cable and different USB port
- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause

I dropped my iPod touch 4 generation on my kitchen tile and it shattered, like chunks of the screen are coming off. But everything works and I’ve had it for a 1 ½ years now. Depending on the extent of the damage, Apple may replace the iPod for a flat fee; see the Repair Pricing section here:

There are independent iPod repair services that may be able to repair the iPod for less. Do a web search for "ipod repair". Note, though, that if you elect to have the iPod serviced by an unauthorized shop, all further warranty will be void.

Hi my name is Timothy and I have had my iPod Touch 4th Generation 32 GB for about 8 months and when I got it, it was fast but now i updated it to 6.1.6 and it goes really slow i have only used 6.8 GB of space on it and there is 21.7 GB left on it.
Periodically double click the home button and close all the apps in the recently used dock. Then power off and then back on the iPod. This frees up memory. The 4G only has 256 MB of memory.

I can not connect to the ITunes store. I have updated my apple ID and made sure that everything is set correctly. However, I can not purchase or update any apps no matter what I do. My partner has the same phone and hers works perfectly. I'm not sure how to sort this out. Please help

AndyI've been having this problem for weeks and have found no solution to it. There are lots of other people with this issue too if you look back on the boards. I even e-mailed AND called Apple and have had no luck. I tried all the suggestions they gave me and all the ones I found on here- nothing worked. I even uninstalled and re-installed iTunes (boy was that a pain!) and no difference.
The weird part is that I have an old laptop that works and if I buy music with the laptop I can download it with my regular computer buy buying does not work on my regular computer. That tells me it's not a connection issue. I can't get to my account either.
I can't figure out why an issue that has kept so many people from purchasing a product has been ignored! -

Is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :

I have had Adobe XI for about two years and My harddrive just crashed. My backups were part of the failure so I can't get it back. I purchased it from a third part supplier and it was a download. I need to find out how to get it restored. I can send screen shots of all of the drive location where the drive is still good and I can see my Adobe Acrobat pro information, but the download itself is missing. NEXT STEP?

You can download a trial then install using your serial number, which if you didn’t register or write down somewhere you will be out of luck to track down.

Sorry i correct myself i had been an iPhone user for about 3 years. My last Apple iPhone was an iPhone 5. I am getting used to things with the Samsung but really think the extra features such as smart stay and scroll are coverting humans into robots. The configuration of the features is also difficult as it detects your eye movement so if the movement is out of place even the slightest the feature will not function. I think the ios user interface is simple in comparison to the android user interface. Any views are appreciated? I have many friends also using HTC and prefer it in comparison to the iPhone and Galaxy but as raymond73 mentioned choice is a wonderful thing.
